We sit down and discuss the upcoming 10 year anniversary of his debut album "Memory Bank" John discusses how the album came to be, the process and creative intent behind the album. They reflect on the impact of the album and the emerging Datawave scene. John also discusses the difficulty of following up a beloved album and what the future holds for him creatively.

This is super fun and probably my favorite since the Overpass OST. Speaking if Overpass. In my opinion it brings some of my favorite elements from that album and fully expands and explores those tones and vibes.
To summarize another fantastic album, so buy it

This is the first truly great record of 2023, maybe further back than that even. Two styles and workflow that are vastly different come together to bring us a record in the style that neither are known for. I would consider this the first proper "Datawave" record. Its ideas are fully formed, and its ex*****on is flawless. Mastered by Hotol Pools. This record pops all the way through.

Standouts for me are Cursors, Memory Screen, and Hitbit

We are extremely proud to present this interview. Eagle Eyed Tiger has been at the top pf our list for a long time and we have been working on this for literal years. Eagle Eyed Tiger explores many textures and sounds, combining acoustic, vocal and synth elements into something truly unique in the chillsynth spectrum of music. To call EET chillsynth is a disservice to his ability and vision. Each album exploring a different theme and feeling. from abstract to the literal. Smile For the Camera was album of the year for us when it came out. Since then he has only continued to grow and surprise us.

This week we interview electronic artist Eagle Eyed Tiger. The ever changing and genre exploring artist sits down and talks about how he started the project, where his name comes from (you can probably guess) The struggles and work that goes into being an indy artist. His musical background and upcoming releases for 2023.

This album is profoundly important to me. It was the first album that showed me electronic music could be dangerous, punk and deeply danceable at the same time. Along with Aphex Twin, The prodigy were huge influences on my in my teenage years. First hearing their music in Hackers I was instantly hooked. Here's to 25 years of Fat of the Land. Also RIP Keith Flint
