A reminder to lock your cars and homes. Here is a look at hotspots for commercial, residential and vehicle burglaries from April and May 2022. Many of these reports were vehicle burglaries where a door was unlocked. Good news is, BPD did make a few arrests related to these crimes. For prevention tips click the link.

Boise BLM has organized a march at 2 AM on Boise city council members homes. Why would they need to protest at 2AM? Why would you need the cover of darkness to carry out your protest? As retired law enforcement officers, we know why and it’s not good.
You also want to look at how they phrase their words. Boise BLM says, “We won’t be going public with this because we don’t want do**he cops trying to harass us or counter protestors trying to follow us.”
If you were going to be peaceful, then you shouldn’t have to come out in the middle of the night in secrecy. We have watched cities around us fall to rioters destroying their city. Good Idahoans have made it impossible for rioters to grab a foothold in our state. We need to keep up that pressure. Do not be silent any longer. Be involved, as you have been, in keeping Idaho safe. That means making your voices heard that you don’t accept this behavior in Idaho.

A supervisor was requested for a DOA at the Prison.

Large law enforcement and medical response to an address on Eggar's Place in Meridian for a suicidal subject.
Boise PD out with "illegal activity" under the 9th Street Bridge.
Multiple units in route to a suspicious subject at the Motel 6 in meridian.

Sheriff Mike Hollinshead
The Elmore County Sheriff’s Office is Investigating a Forced R**e that occurred in the Pine/ Featherville area on May 3rd, 2020. The area of concern is near Johnsons Bridge (hot ponds) and Bronco Gulch Camp site.
The victim was with a group of friends in the early morning hours at approximately 12:00 AM and left the campfire area briefly and was attacked from behind. The victim was transported to a Boise hospital for treatment.
As Detectives continue developing leads in the case, we are requesting that anyone in the Johnson Bridge and/or Bronco Gulch area who noticed anyone or anything that looked suspicious or out of character during the timeframe of May 1st through May 4th, 2020, to please contact the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office at 208-587-2100 and leave a message for Detectives.

Mountain Home Rescue in route to an unknown injury crash I-84 milepost 80.
Don't plan on vacationing in Sunny Hawaii after our quarantine is lifted. They have extended their quarantine until the end of May for tourists.
ISP enroute to I-84 mile post 42, westbound, for a report of two Mercedes, one black one white, both with Florida plates vehicles are traveling well over 100 mph.
ISP & County Sheriff have two vehicle stopped that were called into ISP for going well over 100 mph on 84 at MP 104. Trooper caught up to the vehicles and kept them blocked in behind a semi until a county unit could arrive and they could stop them both.
Units attempting to locate a road rage suspect on overland Park Road. They turned into a grocery store.A Red Ford Ranger followed by a white sports car.
Mountain Home Fire Rescue in route to Anderson Ranch Road for a injury motorcycle crash. Rider has sustained at least one possible several broken bones.

Units are out at Eagle Island State Park for a missing child.
Units enroute to the Hammet Boat Launch, which is a day use only area now. Reporting party states there are people camping there and they "want them to leave".
