The film stars Will Smith, Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott, Marwan Kenzari, Navid Negahban, Nasim Pedrad, Billy Magnussen, and Numan Acar, as well as the voices of Alan Tudyk and Frank Welker, the latter of whom reprises his roles from all previous media. The plot follows Aladdin, a street urchin, as he falls in love with Princess Jasmine, befriends a wish-granting Genie, and battles the wicked Jafar.

In October 2016, Disney announced Ritchie would direct a live-action Aladdin remake. Smith was the first member of the cast to join, signing on to portray Genie in July 2017, and Massoud and Scott were confirmed for the two lead roles later that month. Principal photography began that September at Longcross Studios in Surrey, England, also filming in the Wadi Rum Desert in Jordan, and lasted until January 2018. Additional filming and pick-ups took place in August 2018.

Aladdin was theatrically released in the United States on May 24, 2019. It grossed over $1 billion worldwide, making it the ninth highest-grossing film of 2019. Loyalties are tested when five friends and former special forces operatives reunite to take down a South American drug lord, unleashing a chain of unintended consequences.
In case you missed it, Triple Frontier was released on Netflix in March 2019. The big-budget action movie starred Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Adria Arjona, and Pedro Pascal, who played former special forces operatives uniting to steal a drug lord’s fortune. Now, nearly five years later, it looks like a sequel might be on the way.
The movie did relatively well for Netflix despite not being a slam dunk by any stretch. Rumors of a sequel have circled for years, but this year, it looks like plans have been put in place for a sequel.
Our sources told us that development began on Triple Frontier 2 just before the strikes began in May 2023, and midway through the strikes, we got told that the plan was to continue with development following the end of the strikes, which thankfully came to an end in November.
Netflix did not respond to a request for comment when we reached out during the summer.

🎬 Flight of the Intruder (1991)

After the death of a fellow bombardier, Jake “Cool Hand” Grafton (Brad Johnson) begins to question the morality behind war and his place in it. This sentiment finds him crossing paths with Virgil Cole (Willem Dafoe), a bombardier on his third tour of duty, and together they scheme to conduct an unauthorized air strike on Hanoi.
Bomber Pilots Make History
Flight of the Intruder boasts an early stand-out performance from Willem Dafoe, who really steals the scene as the war-hardened Virgil Cole. The rest of the cast also round out the production exceptionally well, despite the slight shortcomings of the script that made Flight of the Intruder a slight side-note in the history of aerial war films. However, there is still a lot of quality here, particularly for aviation enthusiasts, as its depiction of the Vietnam War aircraft, like the A-6 Intruder and Douglas Skyraider, put front and center for a lot of the action (Hot Shots! even took footage from the film). 🎬🎬🎬The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996)
Samantha Caine lives in a small town with her daughter. Eight years ago she emerged, two months pregnant, from a nearby river with no memory of her past or who she is. However, she's getting closer to finding out about her past.
Everyone raves about Die Hard being the best Christmas action movie ever, but in my opinion this one blows it out of the water and it's criminally underrated too. With a great fast-paced plot, intense action sequences, top quality special effects for its time, some perfectly timed comedy and terrific performances from a talented cast including Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson in the leads whose on-screen chemistry is a joy to watch and they're well supported by Craig Bierko, Patrick Malahide, Brian Cox, David Morse and Yvonne Zima. Add to this a great soundtrack and accompanying score from Alan Silvestri and here's another 90s gem that you don't seem to hear much about these days.

The primary antagonist of the film is Kaecilius (Mads Mikkelsen), a former student of the Ancient One who has turned to dark magic, seeking to bring the Dark Dimension to Earth and achieve eternal life. Kaecilius and his zealots steal pages from an ancient tome and perform a ritual to summon Dormammu, the ruler of the Dark Dimension.
As Strange delves deeper into his studies, he comes to realize that his purpose is far greater than simply healing his hands. He must protect the Earth from mystical threats, including Kaecilius' plan to merge Earth with the Dark Dimension. Strange's journey is both physical and spiritual, as he learns to let go of his ego and embrace his role as a defender of the realm.
The film's climax takes place in Hong Kong, where Kaecilius has begun merging the city with the Dark Dimension. Using the Eye of Agamotto (an artifact containing the Time Stone), Strange creates a time loop and confronts Dormammu, bargaining with him to leave Earth and take Kaecilius and his followers in exchange for ending the time loop. This clever and self-sacrificial act saves the world and establishes Strange as the Sorcerer Supreme.
