Dear Father Ejike Mbaka.

I, Peter Obi is still yet to know how I've offended you in person and as a priest you are.

You are my brother as an Igbo man and we even go the same church, the Catholic.

How do you define stinginess in your own dictionary.

So, because I don't share money, means I'm Stingy?

Do you know that those money politicians are sharing, they are state funds. It is not their personal money.

Why must I spend extravagant with money that is not my own just to proof that I'm not Stingy?

I have donated money to almost all the major secondary schools and universities in Nigeria including hospitals.

I never made noisy about it because I see it as a charity work!.

So, you expect me to start singing about it?

Mbaka, if stinginess means to save money and avoid wasting state funds, then, I'm proudly stingy.

But, you have to tell me where else I've wronged you, so that I will apologize and we move on.

It seems you bear grudges on me and you must free yourself because you preach forgiveness to your members.

Hear it again, I am not desperate to be the president of Nigeria. That is why I will never use a kobo to influence anyone!!!.

I have just seen a letter by Togbe Afede explaining why he has decided to refund nearly 400,000 cedis into the public chest.

He says “I confirmed from the Council of State Secretariat that the sum of 365, 392.67 was paid into my account as ex-gratia. I thought the extra payment was inappropriate for the short, effectively part-time work, for which I received a monthly salary and was entitled to other privileges. So I was very uncomfortable with it.”

This is the life of integrity we need in leadership; so it sets an example for young people.

Now as much as I wish there were more Togbe Afede’s in Government, we know that instead the entire space is filled with Eugene Arhin’s, the PPA Boss and Sir John’s.

Article 71 is a blank Cheque we have given to the political class. It is a window for perpetrating an economic crime against the people of this country. You don’t amend the window, you close it shut!

We are producing disenchantment among public servants who slave their whole life away and yet retire on breadcrumbs.

Are they not Ghanaians too?

When we started calling for a New Constitution for a New Generation, they told us we were crazy.

Today, an attention-seeking old man, who first said he doesn’t agree with calls for Constitutional reforms; now says he is open to Constitutional amendment “if necessary”!

🤣!

They still don’t get it! By the time it hits him, he will be sitting in his boxers topless; cooling off in an overcrowded Ashaiman jail cell!

People who have no credibility on how we build a culture of rule of law, have no business moralizing to persons who have our democracy at heart.

Now that you are afraid of a coup d’etat because of extreme corruption and abuse of power; you want to run to the constitution “if necessary” to save face! Why what has changed in a few months for you, Mr President? You now want to jump on this to sanitize your image?

We see through these cheap gimmicks!

If that in your view makes me NDC so be it! I was NPP last time. When the NDC comes, I will be back to NPP. Your refusal to think has no hold on my conscience.

Neho! When the people of Akuse-Amedeka heard that the Attorney-General had gone to Court to tell them that I have no place to live so I should be denied bail on their trumped up charges; they sent a delegation to to bring home.

They said we may be poor but we are a proud people!

Neho! When I was arrested, I had the option of applying for bail for myself; or to challenge the practice of sending people before wrong courts. The first option would release me only. The second option would have brought justice to nearly 10,000 people who are stuck in our criminal justice system.

I asked myself, as an activist what should I do? Should I fight for myself only or seek for my detention to positively impact our criminal justice system. I told my lawyers, let’s fight for the people first.

I sat in jail; and challenged this all the way to the highest court of the land. At the Supreme Court, our judges called such a pressing issue of keeping so many people in jail without trial “an intellectual exercise”.

If it was an intellectual exercise; why did they fail to exercise their intellect?

The entire Legal Profession was quiet. All of them know how horrible this practice was; and how disappointing the Supreme Court was on the issue.

Today, the Chief Justice has taken a new step.

Watch carefully the loudest voices criticizing the Chief Justice for the illegal and illogical directive that Judges should prioritize Senior Lawyers in Court. The abuse of power by the Chief Justice, the General Legal Council and the Bench has been going on for a long time.

It’s Kwaku Azar , a person who is not a lawyer in Ghana.

And Manasseh Azure Awuni a person who is not a lawyer.

These are the loudest voices!

Ask yourself, why are the lawyers themselves quiet?

Our lawyers are the most shameful lot i have ever seen in any country I have lived in. If they refuse to pick the tools to resist tyranny among their ranks, I won’t speak up for them.

My mission is ordinary people who get caught up in a judicial system designed to deny them justice. A judiciary which has become a national security threat in the eyes of our security establishment because of its proven corruption and the now apparent view of the minister that the Judiciary is filled with party footsoldiers.

In Pakistan, lawyers are demonstrating everyday demanding reforms; including lower court fees to enable access; challenging impunity of judges.

In Ghana your Bar Association is part of the moral decay.

No one will speak for Lawyers, if they cannnot speak for themselves ?
