The Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC) Branch 6 has issued a warrant for Jude Bacalso's arrest over "grave slander by deed."
The charge was filed following an incident in July 2024 when Bacalso publicly scolded a waiter for calling the local personality "sir." A social media post that went viral captured Bacalso, a member of the LGBTQ community, making the waiter adopt a “parade rest” stance for almost two hours.
The MTCC Branch 6 has set an P18,000 bail bond for Bacalso's provisional liberty.
