I just signed up for another tournament! This time I am proud to announce that this one will be for a great cause! I am taking part in the Tap Cancer Out BJJ Open and along with my teammates and competitors, I'll be fighting for those who are in the fight of their lives - children with cancer. S/O to for being an inspiration to me and many others to take action in the fight against cancer.

After not having trained for two weeks due to a knee injury, I lost this match on a razor thin margin as a result. He got me in a deadly straight ankle lock and tapped me with one second left. I tapped early, but not early enough. I ended up straining my foot, forcing me to drop out of the rest of the tournament. Luckily I was able to get one more match in and you will see that here shortly.
