👉🏻 Did you know that if you’ll simply start paying attention to your body (cycles, moods, etc) more closely in your mid 30s, you’ll be better prepared mentally when you hit perimenopause? I wish I had known that.

💄 There’s more to this thing than just moaning about it to each other. Yeah. I said that. I’m guilty. You actually need to have a plan. You’ll be spending about a THIRD of your life in menopause. And you don’t want to be kicking and screaming about it the whole time.

👋Ｆｒｉｄａｙ Ｉｎｔｒｏｄｕｃｔｉｏｎ👋

Hello everyone! I haven’t done an intro in a while so I thought I would today!

My name is Mary and I’m 51 — so I’m living in the second half of life. I started this podcast almost a year ago and I’m having a blast with it! I wanted to share stories from different people who are living in this season with authenticity, courage, and fun! We have had so many interesting interviews chocked full of wisdom for those who haven’t quite made it here yet.

On a personal note, I am married (𝑨𝒍𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 20 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔!), the mom of two beautiful red-heads — one that’s married (𝑰'𝒎 𝒂 𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒎𝒂 𝒚'𝒂𝒍𝒍!)) and one that just got her license. So I like to call us “almost, sorta-kinda empty nesters.”

⛰️We live in the Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina and simply are in love with this area. My husband and I are bi-vocational in that we work 9-5 jobs and we co-pastor a church.
