We have been criticized Salvar kiir for his wrong act to destroy peace and at the same time we did criticized Dr. Riek Machar for his Nepotism and mismanagement of SPLM-IO Leadership system.

The question is Why do you want to killed us when we pointed out what went wrong in SpLM/ IO Leadership ? Those two big fish are responsible for the Suffering of South Sudanese. No one is clean among them. The family enterprises is booming in Juba, is it a Liars or true? Well, I know you will pretend not to tell the truth. Salvar kiir is a dictator, is it true or false? PRESIDENT KIIR OFFICIATES THE SWEARING IN OF THE NEWLY APPOINTED GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS

JUBA, (2 October 2023)- President Kiir has directed the newly appointed Minister of Interior Angelina Teny and her deputy Marial Gumke to work together in order to enable the institution to deliver on its mandate.

Kiir was speaking while swearing in the new officials in Juba on Monday. The Deputy Governor of Lakes State Dr. Isaiah Akol Mathiang also took the oath of office.

The swearing in the ceremony was officiated by Chief Justice Chan Reec Madut.

The First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny urged the new officials to prepare a conducive environment for the conduct of elections next year.

Interior Minister Angelina Teny noted that she would join hands with officials in the Ministry to improve the performance.

Deputy Minister of Interior Marial Gumke said he will work jointly with colleagues in the Ministry to achieve the overall direction of the political leadership.

South Sudan government suspended peace with holdout Oppositions group of General Thomas Cirilo Swaka, General Pagan Amum, General Paul Malong, as well as others such as Emmanuel Ajawin until further notice.

South Sudan government has suspended the peace talks with opposition groups in Italy, saying that the holdout rebels are not serious and are using the initiative to buy time in order to prepare for a deadly conflict.

The opposition groups are united under the South Sudan Opposition Movements Alliance (SSOMA) and includes General Thomas Cirilo Swaka, General Pagan Amum, General Paul Malong, as well as others such as Emmanuel Ajawin.

“This letter informs the Community of Sant’Egidio that the Revitalized Transitional Government of National Unity has suspended its participation in the Rome Peace talks till further notice. This decision was not arrived at lightly,” Kiir’s office said in a letter addressed to the mediation.

“While we have been preparing to engage in serious dialogue with Non-Signatory South Sudan Opposition Group to bring lasting peace to our country, it has come to our attention that this Group is using these talks to buy time as they prepare for war,” the it added.

The letter signed by minister of presidential affairs and chair of government delegation at the talks said the government has always been committed to the initiative in hope to bring permanent peace to the country and not to cause another conflict.

“All along, we have considered the Rome Initiative as a facilitative avenue for peaceful resolution of the conflict in South Sudan, and not as another repertoire in tactical consideration in the pursuit of military objectives over peaceful means,” it said.
“This view of Rome Initiative on our part includes strong commitment to engage in these talks honestly with the goal of reducing harm to our people and fostering the environment that will lead to the achievement of inclusive peace,” it added.

It added that “Since this new development that used the Rome Initiative as a cover in preparation for war is diametrically opposed to our view on the same, the Government took the decision to suspend the talks with Non-Signatory until further notice to prevent the mockery of this noble process.”

“Let me be clear, the Government is firm on its unequivocal commitment to Rome Process, and it is within this guarantee that I am inviting you to come to Juba, subject to your availability to further discuss in person the concerns mentioned above.”

We sadly annonce the lost of one of our great men Manawa Peter Gatkuoth Gual.

He died in Egypt with shot sickness which he begins in Juba last Thursday.

Family member said that "Manawa started a chest pain on Thursday and on Friday at 3:00 pm he was flown to Egpt for medical attention unfortunately this morning we are informed of his demise".

Some of the critics believe that this death might be generated by the recent crisis of proposed dredging of Naam and other rivers in South Sudan in which Manawa stood firmly with the flood affected communities.

On behalf of Lich Broadcast, we would like to send our deepest condolences to the grieving family of Peter Gatkuoth Gual, Lou, Nuer community and South Sudan at large.

Ethiopia Eastern Nuer white army should not repeat the same mistake again:

I would like to have this opportunity to advise my Ethiopia Eastern Nuer white army should not repeat the same mistake done in South Sudan by using pure white Army for their own benefit. The war between Rebels and Ethiopia Government is not a civilians war. Therefore; white Army should not involve or being mislead by any Nuer leader in Gambella Region.

First, Ethiopia Eastern Nuer White Army have got their own war which exists for decades and up to now it is on going war. I am urging them to think deep on this current conflict as it is Government issue not yours. In another hands, this Ethiopia war will take time to cease. In this case you should just deal with your existed conflict between you and Murle who always takes your children and cows every month plus other neighbouring communities.

Second, Ethiopia soldiers have life insurance and Money. Their life is grantee by Government of Ethiopia. Do you have any of these? Big no. Please, be advise that do not involve in Government issues randomly without thinking about what should be the benefits and lost. What happened in South Sudan should not happen again in Ethiopia Eastern Nuer. Last three month ago when militias from murle community came and attacked you, the Government of Gambella did not supply you with guns and bullets. It was only what you have which is not enough and you did protect your territory.

In conclusion, Ethiopia Eastern Nuer White army should not involve in Government conflict since you are pure civilians. Just deal with Murle militias and other neighbouring communities.

Kiir regime will destroy Dr. Riek Camp in this dry season. It is clear. In another hand, Dr. Riek Machar has destroyed his own camp last year. That mean Salvar kiir knows Dr. Riek is weak already while he kept him hostage in Juba. Salvar kiir is the boss of Dr. Riek Machar until 2028 whether he like it or not. That scenario of putting yourself in weak position is very shame indeed.

This Miscalculation of Dr. Riek Machar to the core will never cease untill the end of his political arena.

SPLM/A- IO politicians run out of ideas completely. The mean issue we are facing currently in South Sudan is lack of peace and security. They should be asking or pressuring Salvar kiir to speed up the implementation of 2018 peace agreement process instead. I know the reform agenda is dying slowly .

JUBA — Around 100 officers belonging to the Sudan People’s Liberation Army in Opposition (SPLA-IO), have declared their intention to abandon the opposition group’s faction led by First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny accusing him of betraying the cause of the group.

In the statement extended to Sudans Post, the group of 108 officers declared their allegiance to General Simon Gatwech Dual effective today, saying the opposition commander who was the SPLA-IO military chief was fighting for the opposition cause.

“Sector 4, Division 5-Jikew Headquarter, have switched loyalty and allegiance from Dr. Riek Machar Teny Dhurgon and declared our full support, commitment, loyalty, and unequivocal allegiance to Kitguang Declaration under the Interim Chairman and Commander in Chief of the SPLM/A-IO, H.E. 1″. Lt. Gen. Simon Gatwech Dual,” they said in a statement.

“We are the SPLM/A-IO Officers whose trust has been broken and betrayed,” the statement added.

They said the revitalized peace agreement’s chapter who was supposed to be implemented in six months and before the formation of the transitional government, but then Machar was quick to join the regime in Juba leaving them in the bush.

“The R-ARCSS promised us 6 months of training and unification of forces, but Riek Machar abandoned us stranded at Jekow Containment Site for more than two years without food, medicines, and other basic life sustenance, while enjoying luxury life in Juba,” they said.

They alleged that General Simon Gatwech Dual was fired as chief of staff for standing for the implementation of the revitalized peace agreement just for Machar to regain his position.

“Riek fired the Chief of General Staff of the SPLM/A-IO for advocating for our needs and the unification of forces, arguing that the 1st. Lt. Gen. Simon Gatwech Dual should walk to Juba with his hands in the pocket leaving us stranded at cantonment site like him,” the officers said.

“We are well trained officers who defended the SPLM/A-IO for eight years, yet Riek cowardly abandoned us and entrusted his security protection in the hands of Salva Kiir Mayardit. We therefore condemned Riek Machar Teny for persistent betrayal of his forces,” they added.
