Fans have been throwing their lingerie at the musician while he's on stage 👙

Drake recently showcased his collection of bras thrown at him during his "It’s All a Blur Tour" on Instagram. He displayed an array of bras in different sizes and colors and even shared a video of his team emptying a bin filled with them. Drake humorously referred to this collection as his "trophy case of bras" and included unreleased lyrics in his post. Additionally, he demonstrated his generosity by gifting a fan $50,000 in Las Vegas after learning they had spent their furniture money to attend his concert. Before that, he had given expensive bags, including a Birkin and a Chanel, to two female fans at different Los Angeles shows.

Rodrigo is now the female solo artist with the most U.K. No. 1 singles this decade. 🌎

Olivia Rodrigo's song "Vampire" has reached the number one spot on the latest U.K. chart, climbing from its previous peak at No. 2. 👏 This achievement marks the first time "Vampire" has secured the top position and comes in its ninth week on the chart. With this success, Rodrigo now has three U.K. No. 1 singles, including "drivers license" and "good 4 u" from 2021. The milestone marks her fifth song to enter the music streaming service's Billions Club. 🤩

Taylor Swift's song "Cruel Summer" from her 2019 album "Lover" has achieved over 1 billion streams on Spotify, making it her fifth song to join the platform's Billions Club. The track reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and topped the Billboard Pop Airplay chart. Taylor Swift also broke a record on Spotify in late August by becoming the first female artist to reach 100 million monthly listeners on the platform. 💯

Ye plans to drop a new album.

Two sources tell NBC News that Ye has been working on new music throughout the summer.

One of the sources was in a studio with Ye and listened to some of the music with the embattled rapper’s partner, Bianca Censori.

“New music is imminent,” the second source, who is close to Ye, said. The sources said it was unclear on what platform Ye would be releasing his new music.

This would be his first album released since Donda 2 dropped in February 2022.

The Grammy winner, 29, marked his return to the social media platform after a three-month hiatus on Saturday, sharing a sweet snapshot of himself, his wife Hailey Bieber, and the couple's niece Iris, who is the daughter of Hailey's sister, Alaia Baldwin.

In the photo, Justin can be seen wearing a black zip-up hoodie and white tank top, as Hailey, 26, wears a large leather jacket and holds the toddler in her arms.
Iris, who was captured staring lovingly at her uncle Justin in the image, wore a fun and vibrant blue dress and smiled big in the presence of her pop star relative.

An incident allegedly involving his brother led to Polo G being arrested and booked by two different police departments

Polo G was arrested yesterday due to an incident allegedly involving his younger brother, the rapper Trench Baby. According to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department, detectives went to Polo G and Trench Baby’s home to arrest the younger rapper for robbery and ended up also charging Polo G with possession of a short-barreled rifle after apparently locating fi****ms at the residence.

Doja Cat is gearing up to release … something.

The photo features a dark silhouette of the “Need to Know” singer wearing a pair of devil’s horns. “9.1.23,” she captioned the post with an hourglass emoji. Though she didn’t specify what exactly is arriving at the top of the month, the artist has been gearing up for the release of her next album. She’s released two new songs this summer: “Attention” in June, and “Paint the Town Red” earlier this month.

In addition to the mysterious teaser, Doja took to her Instagram Stories to share two messages with her followers. The first post contained a quote from Lady Gaga that states, “When you die, nobody is going to give a f–k what you tweeted.” The following post was Doja’s own words: “All that matters to me is that my fans know who I am and the others are stuck trying to figure out.”

Two sexual abuse cases against Michael Jackson have been revived.

According to court documents obtained by The New York Times, a California appeals court ruled on Friday that two men who have accused the late Thriller singer of sexually abusing them as children would be able to resume their lawsuits against Jackson's companies.

On Thursday (August 17), Chart Data reported that La Flame came in at No. 1 with 74.945 million monthly listeners which is the all-time record for most monthly listeners in Spotify history.

Cardi B has not been charged for throwing a microphone at a fan during a Las Vegas concert last weekend.

Las Vegas police cleared the Bodak Yellow rapper from their criminal battery investigation on Thursday, citing "insufficient evidence".

"After a thorough review of this case and with the consultation from the Clark County District Attorney's Office, this case has been closed as having insufficient evidence," the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported in a statement. "No charges will be filed in relation to this case."

Cardi's lawyers added in a statement to TMZ, "This afternoon we were notified by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept that as a result of their investigation, there will be NO charges against Cardi. On behalf of Cardi, we appreciate the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept's diligent and prompt resolution of this matter."

The Grammy winner was accused of battery on Monday after she allegedly threw her microphone at a woman in the audience when the fan appeared to throw a cup at her, according to a video shared on social media.

The microphone in question has been put up for auction on eBay by the audio production company that owned it, with the promise that proceeds would be given to charity.

As of Friday morning, the current bid was $99,900 (£78,500).

One of Taylor Swift‘s The Eras Tour crew members is speaking out about how much her generosity helps those she employs.

News broke earlier this week that the “Bejeweled” superstar gave $100,000 bonuses to each truck driver of her tour before the Saturday night (July 29) show in Santa Clara, Calif., according to TMZ and ET. Swift has around 50 drivers on her tour, making the total amount of money around $5 million.

Dua Lipa has been sued for a third time over her song Levitating. 😩

According to court documents obtained by Billboard, a copyright lawsuit filed in a federal court by music producer Bosko Kante on Monday alleged that the singer used his so-called talk box track in remixes of the song without his consent.

"All three remixes sampled and incorporated a greater amount of plaintiff's work than that used in the original version," Kante's lawyers wrote in their filing. "Defendants did not seek or receive any authorization or permission to use the composition or sound recording of plaintiff's work from plaintiff."

Kante claimed in his suit that he was approached in 2014 by Levitating producer Stephen Kozmeniuk to create a "talk box performance" - a track using a "talk box" device to apply speech sounds to instrumentals. According to the suit, Kante reached an oral agreement that his track could be used in the original Levitating song but never consented to the track's incorporation into subsequent remixes.

Offset has admitted that he falsely accused his wife Cardi B of cheating.

During a Monday appearance on the Way Up With Angela Yee podcast, the Migos rapper confessed that he had been drinking when he accused his wife of cheating via social media in June.

Describing Cardi as a "pitbull at the mouth", Offset recalled that the couple argued while he was "really lit" on Casamigos tequila.

"We're going back and forth and I'm like, 'Watch this,'" the rapper recounted in his interview. "She got a crazy mouth, but I love my wife at the end of the day... But she crazy, man."

Love on Tour, the second solo headlining tour from Harry Styles, recently concluded with an emotional final show in Italy. Goodbyes, no matter how short, are often bittersweet, but performing for building-shaking crowds multiple times a week had become the singer’s day-to-day for nearly two full years. Each night across 173 shows, he encouraged over 5.04 million fans worldwide to forget about the world outside the walls of the venues littered with feather boas and glitter. Meanwhile, a portion of the proceeds from those shows benefitted charity organizations committed to making a difference in the world those fans needed distracting from.

In the time since Love on Tour began in September 2021, Styles raised and donated more than $6.5 million to local charities across the world. While fans were embracing the safe space of his concerts, particularly in North America, more lives were being lost to gun violence, and lawmakers increasingly targeted women’s reproductive rights. Other social tragedies continued to impact victims of humanitarian crises as well as Black and q***r communities.

Travis Scott has released his long-promised new album Utopia. Beyoncé appears on the album track “Delresto (Echoes).” Drake appears on “Meltdown,” while both Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and Sampha appear on “My Eyes.” Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo is a co-producer on “Modern Jam.” SZA and Future appear on “Telekinesis,” while Kid Cudi appear on “Looove” (which also credits Pharrell). In addition to his appearance with Bad Bunny on the single “K-Pop,” the Weeknd and Swae Lee appear on “Circus Maximus.” Playboi Carti and Sheck Wes feature on “Fe!n,” and Young Thug and India.Arie appear on “Skitzo.” Dave Chappelle contributes to “Parasail,” while Westside Gunn drops a verse on “Lost Forever.” The album also features credited contributions from James Blake, Metro Boomin, the Alchemist, Boi-1da, Kanye West, Vegyn, and more.

The album arrives after a tumultuous week for the rapper, who had planned to perform new material from Utopia during a livestreamed concert at the Pyramids of Giza. The endeavor was called off on July 26 over “complex production issues,” eight days after Scott had denied an earlier cancelation rumor. The show is still slated to be rescheduled for an as yet unannounced date.

Jay-Z has added another tally to the win column after becoming the first Black male recording artist to have at least 10 double-platinum solo studio albums.

Last week the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) updated its certifications, and Jay's 2009 album The Blueprint 3 reached 2 million album-equivalent sales, which pushed it to double-platinum status. The Black Album, which dropped in 2003, went quadruple-platinum, giving the Brooklyn rap legend over 33.5 million album sales.

In addition to being the first Black man to have at least 10 double-platinum solo albums, 53-year-old Jay-Z is only the second Black artist to do it. Mariah Carey has 11 solo albums that have sold over 2 million copies domestically and is also the most commercially successful Black female soloist of all time.

Jay-Z also has two collaborative albums that went double-platinum, pushing his total number to 12. His 2004 joint effort with Linkin Park titled Collision Course sold 2 million copies, and his 2011 collaboration with Kanye West, Watch the Throne, has sold 5 million.

According to TMZ, who was first to report the news, the couple has been separated since January and are planning to legally end their marriage. People also reports that the pair went their separate ways earlier this year.

Billboard has reached out to Grande’s reps for comment.

The singer-actress has been in the U.K. filming the Wicked movies, and was spotted at Wimbledon on Sunday (July 16) in London without her wedding ring. In photos from the tennis championship, her fingers are bare as she sits next Andrew Garfield, Tom Hiddleston and her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey.

The singer and the 27-year-old luxury real estate broker wed in a private ceremony in May 2021 after getting engaged in December 2020, about 10 months after they were first spotted together in February that year. Gomez also appeared in the music video for “Stuck With U,” Grande’s lovey-dovey mid-pandemic collaboration with Justin Bieber.

Travis Scott’s planned performance at the Pyramids of Giza is facing pushback from Egypt’s Musicians’ Syndicate, Agence France-Presse reports. The group said that it is revoking a permit for the July 28 concert because it “contradict[s] the identity of the Egyptian culture.”

It is unclear, however, if the group has the official authority to cancel Scott’s show, and, in a statement shared with Pitchfork, promoter Live Nation said: “There have been no changes to Travis Scott’s show in Egypt; any reports to the contrary are false. We can’t wait to celebrate ‘Utopia’ in Egypt!”

Lil U*i Vert has officially announced a new album, the follow-up to 2020's Eternal Atake. It’s titled Pink Tape, it’s 26 tracks long, and it’s due out this Friday (June 30) via Generation Now and Atlantic Records.

Lil U*i Vert continued to stay occupied throughout 2021 and 2022, making more than 20 appearances on tracks by Tyler, the Creator, Yeat, Baby Keem, Pusha T, Gucci Mane, and more. More recently, the rapper again worked with Future and Don Toliver on two songs from the Metro Boomin–produced soundtrack to the new movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

Jon Batiste has announced the follow-up to his Album of the Year-winning We Are, with an all-star guest list joining the former Late Show bandleader for World Music Radio. 💯

The 20-track album, out August 18 via Verve Records/Interscope Records, sticks to its name by recruiting global talent, including Lil Wayne, Fireboy DML, Kenny G, J.I.D., NewJeans, Camilo, and on the bonus track “Life Lesson,” Lana Del Rey, who previously recruited Batiste for a pair of tracks on her Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd.

“I created this album with a feeling of liberation in my life and a renewed sense of exploration of my personhood, my craft and of the world around me unlike anything I had ever felt before,” Batiste said of World Music Radio in a statement.

Drake Lists Gigantic Beverly Hills Hacienda for $88 Million 🤑

It’s Drake’s third and final home sale in Los Angeles’s Beverly Hills, and he saved the best for last. The extravagant Tuscan-style monster mansion is listed for a jolting $88 million.

Built over several years in the late 1990s, the nearly 25,000-square-foot mansion was first designed by KAA Design Group for Guess cofounder Armand Marciano, who opted for old world–esque, Mediterranean-themed interiors. English pop star Robbie Williams then bought the place in 2015 for $33 million, renovating it in a contemporary style. Williams then sold the pad last spring for $75 million to Drake. It’s unclear whether the Grammy Award–winning rapper made any changes to the property in the past year.

18-Year-Old Man Admits to Fatally Shooting Pop Smoke 😱

An 18-year-old man who was charged in the 2020 fatal shooting of rising Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke admitted to killing him during a home-invasion robbery at a Hollywood Hills home in juvenile court Friday (May 12), according to City News Service.

The man, who was 15 at the time of the crime, admitted to a first-degree murder charge stemming from the Feb. 19, 2020, killing of Pop Smoke (real name Bashar Barakah Jackson). He also admitted to a home-invasion robbery charge as well as an allegation that he personally and intentionally discharged a firearm during the crime.
