It can take years of therapy to change a mindset or behavior patterns, don’t you think?

For so long, I postponed reading this particular book, telling myself, “I’ve read something similar before!”

I never imagined it could help me develop such profoundly positive habits that would reshape my entire perspective.

The previous book I read was about the laws of attraction. While it did broaden my horizons, it didn’t truly alter my life.

Story time, perhaps more for myself, so feel free to scroll on if tear jerkers aren’t your thing.

Confession time: My sales are still at $0 but this post is about my wins.

Today I stumbled upon something so profound that made me rethink success beyond monetary gains.

I came across a post detailing a journey from homelessness to successful businessman. Upon achieving success, the person realized, “I am finally somebody!”

A hug followed, with the reassuring words, “you were ALWAYS somebody!” That story hit me hard.

In that instant, memories flooded back. I’ve been exactly where he was.

Twice, before my daughter turned 3, we were homeless—sleeping in transition homes, shelters, and wherever we could that was warm.

Being homeless with a newborn or a toddler is a parent’s actual nightmare.

After first time we were home we, we ended up fleeing town in the dark morning hours. That’s a story for another time, though.

The second time, I felt defeated. How could I let this happen again?

Today, that story hit me like a freight train. My success can’t be counted monetarily.

My success lies in my journey.

My daughter and I have a home. I’ll never forget the day we walked in and were given the keys. I’ll never forget how much bigger it was than my car—our only space.

We’re still in that home, in the low-income part of town.

But I did it. My baby feels safe, knowing this as her home for three solid years. I’m writing this through tears.

You can’t see the come-up I’ve made, but if you could, I promise you’d be proud too.

I AM SOMEBODY! Even if I haven’t “made it” yet with my branding business.

I know my sweet girl loves her bedroom—I made that happen. That’s a massive win!

We took an empty house and made it a home. That can’t be measured in numbers but shows how far I’ve come.

We’re safe. We’re fed. We’re clothed. We’re warm. And I remember when those necessities were scarce for us.

We made it, baby girl. We made a home filled with love. And every single day we do our very best.

By that standard, Sophie and I are massively successful!

And to be sure, we will always know: we are SOMEBODY!

Here’s the 3 things I’m doing for my digital marketing business and the 3 easy steps you can take to start:

There were so many times in 2023 when I wanted to end it.

I spent hours on su***de lines. We suffered a miscarriage. Inflation hit harder than ever. Many days I spent hating myself. I felt lost. And all hope was gone.

It’s incredible how much had to happen to me so I would finally move, with purpose and begin loving myself.

On the last day of the year, I reflect on all that transpired in the last 365 days, and I can say with certainty that all of it had to happen

Had the year not tore me down, or taken me apart piece by piece, the Universe would not have been able to put me back together in this way.

The cracks in my soul were glued back together with love and glitter!

If it felt like 2023 broke you too, know that nothing is by accident. Sometimes we need to be broken apart to be lovingly pieced back together.

In 2024 I hope every previously broken or dark part of your soul shines beautifully and lovingly until eternity.💛

Remember, were made for such a time as this! ✨

The best moment of 2023 for me, was captured on film.

In this exact moment, my heart healed from everything that happened to me in 2023: losing a baby, grieving from loss, my relationship was on the brink, and I was BIG mad at God.

This year was a wild one for many of us, but for myself I experienced the best and worst versions of myself.

That’s something I never want to do again.

Thankfully, in the last month of the year my love and best friend made this trip happen for us. When I say it was the trip of a lifetime, that’s an understatement.

Our souls healed from this lifetime and lifetimes past . Our souls also rekindled the closeness and connection that got lost this year.

We lost a baby this year. And though it brought darkness, that loss also healed us in ways we didn’t even realize we needed healing in.

2023 was a year that broke us and also lovingly repaired us back together with love and gold.

The flaws from this year are now to be forever seen as a unique piece of our history which adds to our story of beauty and love.

2023 made me, broke me, put me back together, and is guiding me to my true north.

As Mom’s we have a handful of basic NEEDS and everything else in life is a desire.

1. Enjoyment of life (and if your nervous system isn’t regulated we call this survival)
2. Enjoyment of food & drink.
3. To be free from fear or danger.
4. Companionship.
5. Comfortable living.
6. Care + protection for loved ones.
7. Social approval.
8. To be superior, winning, or keeping up with the Jones’

These needs are virtually unshakeable.

Everything else is a merely a desire.

Yet, how many Mom’s can say they enjoy having more than enough time with their children or family every week?

How many Mom’s can say they DO NOT fear for their child(ren)’s safety when sending them off to school everyday?

Do you know many SAHM’s that don’t struggle or worry about current or future financial stability?

When sending your LO off to school, doesn’t it cross your mind that others may not be as kind, caring or protective of your child as you would?

How many Mom’s do you know that are comfortably saving and planning for a worry free retirement?

Listen Momma, I’ve been there. I’ve felt hopeless and clueless at times, wondering how the future would take care of itself when as it stands we’re barely scraping by.

Even with my nearly 10 years in NWM, you wouldn’t think I would fear starting over….again. But I did.

I stood alone, afraid to begin again, yet absolutely certain if I did what I’d always done, I’d get what I always got! And I was destined for more.

Creating financial stability for my family wasn’t a DESIRE, it was a need. No question, it had to be done.

Becoming that for my child isn’t a desire, it’s an unquestionable need that my soul won’t rest until it feel’s it’s accomplished.

MLM wasn’t it for me. Relying on several hundreds of small commission sales was time consuming. That meant I couldn’t have more enjoyable time with my family.

So I sought something innovative and new.
