The older I get the more I realize poor sleep affects my overall mood and productivity the next day. Having a solid night routine and getting some assistance from @modernmanlifestyles Knockout sleep aid does just the trick to ensure I’m feeling fresh and ready for the next day!

A new thing I’ve learned about myself is that when my mental health is in the sh*ts, my space becomes what my mind is feeling. It’s a scary thing to realize because it’s not something that’s hidden away. It’s literally right in front of me and it’s like I don’t register it in the moment. This reset really helped ease my mind overall, I feel good about going into the space and I feel like I can actually be creative and productive again. Special shout out to @msalexiabell for keeping the rest of our home clean and smelling amazing 🫶🏼

We’ll call this a Mental Health Monday check in… 🧠 I’ve been avoiding feeling things this whole year, especially in the last 2 weeks. But I think it’s starting to spill over and show itself in different ways (it already has in other parts of my life), but today was a clear indicator of that and a push to start looking into therapy 🙃 Stay tuned for that journey.

Some random car thoughts while I was sitting outside waiting to pick up my sushi last night 🍣 I’m not done creating style and grooming content by any means. I just want to create it more organically and share other parts of my life as well. I’m so much more than just fashion and grooming 🤣 I actually have a personality and do fun sh*t. I’m just trying to figure out how to share that with you guys! Anyway, thanks for being here. I appreciate all yall stallions 👊🏼🐎

I literally started running as a mental f*ck you to myself. I hated the thought of long distance running. When I did my first legit run 4 months ago my body was shook. It was very difficult and I was sore for a week 🤣 But I decided to keep going. I went from going maybe 1x a week consistently to 2-3x a week. As the weeks went on, I realized that I started to enjoy the feeling of running. Experiencing that “runners high” if you will. I have always been pretty fit so I feel like I found progression quite quickly in my runs. Once I started Hybrid training that’s when I really fell in love with it. So for the past 5 weeks I’ve been locked in. Lifting and running a combination of 5x per week. My body has gone through some pretty wild changes since but I’ll talk about that in another video. The point of this post is to actually just encourage you to try and do something hard as f**k. Especially if you’re struggling with your mental health or feel like you’re in a rut. The less you want to do it the better it will inevitably be for you. The mental fortitude and discipline that I feel running has reactivated in me after such a brutal start to the year is something that I want to hold onto for as long as possible. I finally feel excited again, happier and more energetic than I have been in months and I love it. Anyways, thanks for reading this if you go this far. Much love 👊🏼

What a full Friday! Celebrated a friends wedding, got my workout in and some last minute work of my own. Got another busy day tomorrow and gotta catch up on some work😮‍💨 • Goodnight 😴
