Albino Joke Ends Mazabuka Man In Tears.
It has ended in tears for a named Mazabuka Man Nakambala Estate Njomona Area Zambia Sugar after he allegedly stopped two young sibling Albinos on their way home from a Local Market.
It is alleged he asked them where they resided and issued a statement to say 'Imwe ndiwe mavaka' Meaning ' you are Valuable assets for Sale,' He later bought them snacks while he engaged on a call with unknown people.
Traumatised, The young siblings found their way home in shock at the incident and reported the matter to their Dad who didn't take the matter lightly but engaged Mazabuka Police for man hunt.
Leading to the man's arrest at a local bar within the very area he had issued the statement.

2023 NATIONAL BUDGET CONSULTATIONS COMMENCE

GOVERNMENT through the Ministry of Finance and National Planning has commenced preparations for the 2023 national budget and the 2023 – 2025 medium term expenditure framework (MTEF).

Acting Secretary to the Treasury Danies Chisenda said in a statement that to facilitate interactive preparations, the Ministry of Finance and National Planning will be conducting broad-based consultations on the 2023 National Budget.

He invited members of the public, private, public sector, civil society and other stakeholders to submit tax, non-tax and expenditure proposals, for review and possible inclusion in the National Budget and the 2023 – 2025 MTEF.

Mr Chisenda said to ensure that as many stakeholders as possible are involved in the open and transparent process, a considerable consultation period of up to June 30, 2023 has been set.

He said the Ministry of finance is confident that the set period will create considerable room for citizens including the youth, women groups, the private sector, public sector, and all other stakeholders and interest groups to participate in the formulation of the National Budget.

He said this will ensure that the government and stakeholders move together in streamlining taxation, creating a conducive policy environment for business, creating employment opportunities, generating wealth and facilitating a sustainable future for all citizens and prosperity for the nation.

CHILUFYA TAYALI'S CASE MOVED TO JUNE 2, 2022
Chilufya Tayali's case of defamation of the President has failed to take off because the DPP has not given consent.
The case has since been pushed to June 2, 2022. This means Tayali will now be moved to a correctional facility within Lukulu district since the police denied him bond.
Meanwhile hundreds of ruling UPND cadres have surrounded the Lukulu magistrate courts in solidarity of President Hakainde Hichilema.

IT’S HUMANE FOR LUSAMBO TO APOLOGISE TO HH, SAYS KAMBWILI
… describes exhumation story as propaganda because he’s been in touch with family

PF presidential aspirant Chishimba Kambwili says he has been in touch with late NDC member Obed Kasongo’s family who have told him that they are not aware about the exhumation of their deceased relative, describing the news as cheap propaganda.

And Kambwili said it is humane for Bowman Lusambo to apologise to President Hakainde Hichilema as not many people would have the courage to do so.
Mr Kambwili described claims about the exhumation of the remains of the late Kasongo as just mere propaganda, saying those who were throwing around the propaganda knew what they wanted to achieve.
