Yesterday I saw a video of my sons unit in Lebanon and for a split second saw his face. It brings joy and relief to see him ok at that moment. But wondering where he is and what he’s been doing. How he’s feeling and at any given moment is he really safe. When will he be home?

One thing that warmed my heart is seeing several of his soldiers wearing the warm winter jackets that the Genesis 123 Foundation provided to more than 1200 soldiers last winter.

Yesterday I had the pleasure to join Perry Atkinson again on Focus Today. In the past year I’ve given at least 100 interviews about updates from Israel which I consider a responsibility.

I don’t usually fly El Al but it’s time to go home and this is the reliable ride at the moment

Many unique things about El Al

I appreciate the extra security but always angered by the need for it as if that’s normal

I just heard the flight attendant asking passengers in the exit row “if something God forbid happens, are you willing to help?”

I’ve sat in exit rows and asked to help plenty

Never did any flight attendant mention God

Welcome back to Jerusalem my friend Pastor Umar Mulinde. It was so wonderful to see you again and explore some big ideas together, to support Israel in Uganda, throughout Africa and around the world.

For friends who don’t know who Umar Mulinde is, he is a staunch advocate for Israel in his native Uganda, where he converted from Islam to Christianity after a series of dreams in the 1990s. He was attacked by Islamic terrorists 13 years ago. The terrorists threw acid in his face, figuring him and taking the site from one of his eyes. Nevertheless, he is still a great visionary.

He is in Israel for follow up surgery to that which had him here for two years after the terrorist attack as they remain complications.

Everyone should be praying for him when he goes into surgery next week, and any friends in the Tel Aviv area who have or know of accommodations where he can stay in close proximity to the hospital for a few weeks afterward, please let me know personally

After 3.5 long but successful weeks I'm about to board my 13th flight, home to Israel after sleeping in 12 different places.

Thanks United Airlines for the upgrades and not losing my luggage once.

Thanks to everyone who hosted me, bought Israel the Miracle, came out to listen to my updates from Israel, and who have prayed and showed support for all of Israel. It means a lot.
