On May 8, 2024, the Grade-12 Honesty Class held their recollection at Mangolon Chapel, San Juan, Abra guided by their recollection master, Mr. Elmar Cabunot. During their recollection, they delved into various topics including the profound meaning of recollection, the depths of the iceberg theory, decision-making, the significance of self-esteem, and the powerful affirmation that 'you are beloved'. Through these reflections, our grade 12 gained invaluable insights that will serve as a help for renewal and transformation in their lives.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Elmar Cabunot, for rendering his invaluable time as our Recollection Speaker. Your words enlightened us as we reflect on our past experiences. Through your encouragement, we felt renewed. God bless you a thousand fold!

On this special day, the LTCSIans, parents, and guardians gathered to celebrate the feast day of Saint Mark the Evangelist hosted by the Grade-7 Grace.

As one of the earliest apostles of Jesus Christ, Saint Mark played an essential role in spreading the Christian faith and laying the foundations for the Church. At the school, we strive to follow in the footsteps of Saint Mark and embody his teachings in our daily lives. His unwavering commitment to sharing the Gospel and his deep love for God continue to inspire us today. As we come together to commemorate this significant occasion, let us take a moment to reflect on the life and legacy of Saint Mark. May his example encourage us to live out our faith with courage and conviction, just as he did.

Despite the scorching heat and the constraints of time, the Grade-7 Grace persevered and made sure to celebrate. Their parents were present, and other students enthusiastically joined the celebration. Hence, we thank you for joining us on this special day and look forward to celebrating many more feast days of Saint Mark the Evangelist together.

On April 23, 2024, the Grade-12 students, teachers, and mentors from different partner agencies gathered at the LTCSI Covered Court to celebrate the hard work and dedication of the Grade-12 students who have completed their work immersion. Through this journey, they have cultivated excellence by exploring various industries, building connections with professionals, and developing essential skills that will propel them towards success in their future careers.

The theme of this conference is particularly apt, as it highlights the importance of striving for excellence and seizing opportunities in the ever-evolving world of work. The Work Immersion program has provided our students with a unique platform to do just that - to push themselves beyond their limits, learn from experienced mentors, and immerse themselves in real-world scenarios. As they move forward into the world of work, let us encourage them to embrace challenges, pursue innovation, and make meaningful contributions to their communities.

As the global climate continues to change, communities around the world face new challenges that require adaptation and resilience. Among those on the front lines of these challenges are educators, who must ensure that students' academic progress remains uninterrupted despite the obstacles presented by extreme weather conditions.

In response to the extreme heat, many educational institutions have opted to suspend face-to-face classes, prioritizing the health and well-being of their students and staff. With extreme heat posing a significant risk to those in educational settings, schools have had no choice but to adapt, shifting from traditional face-to-face to distanced mode of learning and online classes. While this transition has been necessary to protect the safety of the school community, it has also demanded considerable effort and ingenuity from teachers, who must now find ways to deliver quality education from afar.

One of the most notable aspects of teachers' responses to the shift to distance learning has been their commitment to maintaining strong connections with their students. In some cases, this has involved visiting students' homes to collect completed assignments and distribute new learning materials, such as modules or textbooks. These visits help to foster a sense of continuity and normalcy during times of crisis, while also ensuring that students have access to the resources they need to succeed academically. Additionally, teachers have embraced digital technologies and tools to facilitate communication and engagement between themselves and their students. Through video conferencing platforms, online discussion forums, and personalized feedback on assignments, educators are working diligently to create interactive and supportive virtual learning environments.

As we continue to navigate the challenges posed by extreme weather conditions and other crises, it is clear that the resilience and resourcefulness displayed by teachers will be instrumental in safeguarding the future of education. Their unwavering commitment to student success, willingness to innovate, and capacity to form strong connections with their students serve as a testament to the strength and adaptability of the teaching profession. Every Foundation Day, our school comes together to celebrate our rich cultural heritage by performing a variety of festival dances. These vibrant and colorful performances showcase our unique traditions, as well as the unity and harmony that exists within our diverse society. As the music fills the air and the rhythmic movements fill our hearts with joy, these cherished festival dances remain an integral part of the Foundation Day celebration, preserving our past while embracing the future.

The final day of the Foundation Day celebration also serves as the Family Day, a heartwarming occasion filled with laughter, love, and lifelong memories. On this special day, families from all walks of life gather to strengthen their bonds through engaging activities, shared meals, and meaningful conversations. Fun-filled games and entertaining performances offer endless opportunities for quality time spent together, fostering a deeper appreciation for the loved ones who make our lives so precious. As part of the grand celebration of Foundation Day 2024, four prominent families came together to participate in a series of friendly competitions that celebrated the spirit of unity and collaboration. Representing the best of their teams, these families showcased their talents and shared their unique traditions in a festive atmosphere of goodwill and sportsmanship. Through various engaging activities ranging from ball games, indoor/outdoor games, board games to the different larong lahi, the Foundation Day celebration became a memorable occasion that strengthened the bonds of friendship and fostered a sense of belonging across students and teachers.
