This one one of those rare releases where you’ll actually hear my voice singing alongside the wonderful voice of . and I started this track as a little jam session from my studio and then it beautifully blossomed in to this! also came in to lay down some luscious sax layers ❤️

The track is about feeling the unstable ups and downs which come with mental health challenges and the difficult thoughts that arise during those low moments. Make sure to follow us all on insta and spotify if you like our music as its a great way to help us keep doing what we do even whilst the computers take over 😜 ! Thank you for the fire pics… We got to upgrade our accommodation due to her missing a flight and this beautiful room was very much a silver lining!

Had so much fun creating this tune with initially as a two way collab. We then decided to get involved for some vocals…. I also recently started working with an incredibly talented sax player who I couldn’t resist recording on here when he came over for a jam sesh. SO. If Kung Fu Panda & Interstellar soundtracks collided… This is my most recent release ‘Silent Pond’ inspired by some of the asian music I was brought up listening to as well as these two ‘stellar’ films 😜. Originally written by Assasi - أساسي & I in Kathmandu, 2016, and joined by Finnish rappers Marleena Arianna & 'Smo' in Kuala Lumpur, 2016. 5 years later in 2021, I joined my bro and mentor A***n Ashoori to help finish production & Adam Maalouf Music laid down the tasty cello parts
