Hunter Lin with Vampire Mako from the Vampire AU~ I love how this one turned out :3 Anyway, here are some of my ideas for this AU:

⚪When Lin and Mako travel together, people often assume Mako’s the one in charge, like he’s enslaved Lin, which is hilarious because it’s totally the other way around! XD
⚪Mako is super possessive and gets jealous whenever someone talks to Lin. I can just imagine the tension when he first meets Tenzin (Lin’s first husband) — it would be so awkward and intense!
⚪Mako prefers traveling with Lin at night, and sometimes he shapeshifts so she can ride on him, which feels a lot like Fel and Mukoda from Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill.
⚪Lin loves combing Mako's long hair—sometimes she even styles it.
They also love to spar together. Lin's always determined to keep her skills sharp, and it's one of the ways they bond.
⚪One thing they often argue about is Lin’s suggestion for Mako to turn her into a vampire. Mako always refuses, and it leads to emotional moments between them. Lin might say, "I’ll grow old and die on you," and Mako always replies, "Then, I’ll die with you."
⚪Lin works as a mercenary and monster hunter to earn money, and of course, Mako is right there helping her out.
⚪Lin often has bad dreams, and whenever that happens, Mako is always there to calm her down.
⚪Lin makes sure to stay healthy because Mako refuses to drink anyone’s blood but hers.

Similarities Between the Chief and the Fifth Hokage

🟩Lin and Tsunade both carry a ton of responsibility as leaders. Lin is the Chief of Police in Republic City, while Tsunade serves as the Fifth Hokage in the Hidden Leaf.

🟩Even though they seem tough and strict, they really care about the people they protect.

🟩Neither of them backs down from a fight. Lin is a master of metalbending and an incredibly skilled combatant, while Tsunade’s immense strength and expertise in medical ninjutsu make her one of the strongest kunoichis in her world.

🟩Both of these women also deal with the heavy weight of their family legacies. Lin strives to live up to her mom Toph's legendary status as an earthbender, while Tsunade, being the granddaughter of the First Hokage.

🟩Loss has shaped both of them, too. Lin carries emotional scars from her complicated family history and her past with Tenzin. For Tsunade, the deaths of her younger brother and her lover, Dan, changed her life forever.

🟩Lin and Tsunade are forces of nature—self-reliant and unyielding. They’ve built walls around themselves, but they also show incredible resilience as they tackle their personal battles head-on.

inspired by an ask (tumblr) 😊 The idea is so interesting plus I got to incorporate some of my faves in it so yeah~

So this is my take on Non-bender Lin :3

▪️ Korra gets her bending back because she’s the Avatar, but she can’t restore anyone else’s bending. So, Lin stays a nonbender.
▪️ In Book 2, Lin leaves the police force and goes to the South Pole to recover from PTSD, she has nightmares of Amon taking her bending, and hallucinations. Katara takes care of her during this time.
▪️ Lin also gets closer to Tenzin's kids during this period.
▪️ Jinora and Ikki feel bad for their Aunt Lin losing her bending while saving them, and they start hanging out with her more often.
They visit her during therapy sessions, bringing flowers and spending time with her their Gran Gran.
▪️ Meelo, being Meelo, calls her “Lady Hero” every chance he gets.
▪️ Meanwhile, Pema, already dealing with postpartum depression, starts worrying that Lin isn’t just getting closer to Tenzin but also to her family. She’s feeling insecure and suspects Lin is trying to take her place.
▪️ Tenzin and the kids reassure Pema that this isn’t the case. But still, Pema occasionally accuses Tenzin of seeing Lin, but the kids would back him up, saying, “No, Mom, we were with Aunt Lin, and Dad was at work.”
▪️ In Book 3, Lin is back on her feet and joins Team Avatar on their search for the New Airbenders. Asami, being the genius she is, comes up with a new tool for Lin:
Asami designs a maneuver gear (like Attack on Titan's ODM Gear) that mimics how metalbenders use cables for mobility. It allows Lin to navigate the battlefield as before, despite no longer having her bending.
▪️ Since Lin is still, and always will be an incredible fighter, She creates retractable blades (like in Assassin’s Creed) that Lin can use as a weapon since she refuses to use the electric gloves
▪️ As time passes, Pema starts to feel better, but her suspicions about Lin never completely fade. Now that Lin is playing a major role in saving the Air Nation and working closely with Tenzin, the lingering doubts continue to plague her. Eventually, Pema reaches her breaking point. Despite Tenzin’s constant reassurance and honesty, she realizes she can’t keep living with these doubts or stay in a marriage without fully trusting him. With a heavy heart, Pema decides to divorce him.
▪️ During their mission, Lin and Tenzin are working together again, but this time, Tenzin is 10,000x more protective of Lin. Why? Because she can’t bend anymore, and he’s constantly worried about her safety. However, he tries to hide it, knowing how upset Lin would be if she noticed. She doesn’t want pity or anyone treating her differently.
▪️ When the Red Lotus jumped on him, Tenzin came close to death, and in that moment, his life flashed before his eyes. He realized how much Lin had always been there for him, through everything (despite their past). When he was miraculously saved, the first person he saw was Lin approaching him. Overwhelmed with relief, he couldn’t help but reach out, trying to hold onto her, grateful that she was safe and sound.
▪️ By Book 4, Lin is looking even more badass with her upgraded gear. Asami added new features like bombs and improved blades, making Lin even more formidable.
▪️ As for Tenzin and Lin’s relationship, it takes time for Lin to accept his feelings. She initially thinks he’s acting out of pity, guilt, or even because she's a second choice after Pema divorced him. But Tenzin works hard to prove that’s not the case. He truly loves her and genuinely wants her back, and he’s determined to show her that his feelings are real. "Just like old times" :3

She started plotting her revenge when she met her dad who told her that she was a mistake and he didn't want anything to do with her or her mom. " I was surprised that your mom didn't go through the, you know... the procedure" his exact words

Unlocked her Lavabending after killing her father (He's a Fire bender)

She continued to be Chief of Police while she plotted her sweet revenge because it's the perfect cover and no one would suspect a thing. It also gave her access to all the prison and the information/records from the previous enemies.

She also enhanced Zaheer's Metallic poison, Hiroshi/ Kuvira's mech, and even Guan's brainwashing machine in secret. She used the Sato mansion as a hideout.

She's cunning and manipulative.

She's overpowered and she knows it.

Her goal is to destroy anyone and everything that made her life miserable.

My untouchable Queens 🤩 Who will win?

I immediately think it's Tsunade no doubt but Lin would gave her a proper fight. Imagine Lin throwing boulders at Tsunade and she keeps destroying them. Tsunade is pretty fast too, quick enough to mess with Lin's movements/ bending ability (just like she did with Kabuto). The only way I could see Lin winning is if Tsunade still has her fear of blood. Lin could use it as an advantage, but if not, I'm so sorry Lin, I love you but Tsunade will definitely destroy you.

🎥TV Show: Dancing Queens on the Road (2023)

Di ko talaga sya kilala nung una ko napanuod DQOTR (Sya pala yung first bias ko na perfomer, mostly kasi actresses or performer turned actress). As the show progressed, napansin ko na sya. First thing na nagustuhan ko sakanya is ung live performace, sobrang natural lang sakanya nun. Nalala ko ung sa unang performance nila, ung wig and shoes nya ay di nakipag-cooperate masyado pero na-push nya padin. Second, looks. Duh? Lahat ng bias ko maganda noh, well sa paningin ko 😍 Third, yung creative side nya. Nakaka-inspire lalo na sakin na frustrated artist na may seasonal episodes HAHAHA Nakaka-motivate na gumawa ng art. Lastly, is ung story nya. Yung struggles nya in the past, gusto ko syang i-hug everytime mabrought up yun. Like Nara and Junghwa, appreciative din sya sa fans nya. Yung mag-reply sya sa comment section e nakakabuo na ng araw! Tapos na-appreciate nya ung gift and letter ko sakanya 🥹🥹🥹 Sobrang nakaka-touch talaga! Love you, Kim Wan Sun!
