NFTs are virtual collectibles associated with real life objects like games, artwork, and music among others with ownership locked and transferred on blockchain. The country aims to use one of its existing laws to tax incomes earned from buying or selling these virtual assets. The law that is being considered to tax NFTs in South Korea is the Act on the Specified Financial Transaction Information. It defines cryptocurrency as a “virtual asset” and focuses on a reporting system for cryptocurrency exchanges

The space telescope, a next-generation instrument said to be the most powerful observational tool to be put into space, has been a long time coming, with development beginning almost 30 years ago in 1996. Webb has been completed, folded up and has survived a journey at sea to arrive in October at its launch site, Europe's Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana. However, a recent incident during launch preparations has forced the mission team to delay liftoff a few extra days.

On November 22, Twitter announced the new live shopping experience. Along with Walmart, it will commence Cyber Week with the first ever shoppable livestream on Twitter on November 28. The Cyber Deals Sunday event will begin at 5:30am IST. During the event, users can watch the live broadcast, shop products from Walmart (on iOS and desktop). "The Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) spacecraft is scheduled to launch at 11:21 a.m. IST Nov. 24 on a SpaceX Falcon 9 from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
DART will fly to the near-Earth asteroid Didymos, which has a moon called Dimorphos, about 160 meters across, orbiting it. DART will collide with Dimorphos at a speed of more than 24,000 kilometers per hour in September 2022, changing its orbital period by an estimated 10 minutes."

This flight, as outlined in regulatory filings, would place the Starship in orbit, but the vehicle would complete less than one orbit before reentering and splashing down in the Pacific Ocean about 100 kilometers the Hawaiian island of Kauai. Both the Starship vehicle and its Super Heavy booster are now complete and, the launch pad and tower should be completed by this month. If SpaceX is successful to recover and reuse Starship during these test flights, operational missions could begin in 2023.

The satellite, Cosmos-1408, appears to have broken up late Nov. 14 or early Nov. 15 Eastern time, based on commercial and government tracking data. The satellite, weighing about 2,000 kilograms, was launched in 1982 and, now defunct, was last tracked in an orbit about 485 kilometers high.The test has so far generated over 1,500 pieces of trackable orbital debris and hundreds of thousands of pieces of smaller orbital debris that now threaten the interests of all nations.”

"The second Space Operations Squadron will be established at the Hofu Kita Air Base in Yamaguchi Prefecture. The location was selected after considering various factors comprehensively.
The new squadron’s establishment is part of Japan’s efforts to beef up its capabilities in new domains such as outer space, as China and Russia are building up their capacity in the electromagnetic spectrum. A space surveillance radar is already being built at the airbase for its full operation in 2023.

"The astronomers made the discovery using the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope (VLT), which is perched atop a desert mountain in northern Chile. The researchers turned the VLT's eyes upon NGC 1850, a cluster nestled in the neighboring Large Magellanic Cloud about 160,000 light-years away from Earth. Here, scientists could look at thousands of stars in one go.
This black hole is around 11 times the mass of the sun. Its home, a star cluster called NGC 1850, is only about 100 million years old, practically an infant by cosmic scales. No black hole has ever been discovered in a cluster that young."

The launch had been delayed over the last week and a half because of weather at the launch site and at abort locations in the Atlantic Ocean, and because of what NASA called a “minor medical issue” involving one of the four astronauts on the mission. Weather is now favorable, with an 80% chance of acceptable conditions at the launch site for the Nov. 10 launch. The medical issue has also been resolved. The Crew-3 astronauts are all in good shape.

"According to China Manned Space Agency, Wang and fellow astronaut Zhai Zhigang left the main module of the Tiangong station for more than six hours to install equipment and carry out tests alongside the station’s robotic arm as part of its ongoing construction.
The third member of the crew, Ye Guangfu, assisted from inside the station. Tiangong, meaning “heavenly palace”, is a crucial part of China’s military-led drive to become a leading space power, after landing a rover on Mars and sending probes to the Moon.
Its core module entered orbit earlier this year, with the station expected to be operational by 2022.
Wang, 41, and Zhai, 55, have previously traveled to China’s now-retired experimental space stations, and Zhai conducted China’s first spacewalk 13 years ago.
Both waved to the camera while tethered to the outside of the station.

"The program is called “Soft Landing” and was created to attract space industry startups to New Mexico, where AFRL is based. The lab has been actively supporting the space industry, sponsoring the Hyperspace and Catalyst Campus accelerator programs.
Gabe Mounce, deputy director of SpaceWERX, said these accelerators help businesses figure out how they might work with the federal government. They are making it easier for the Space Force and other government partners to learn about emerging technologies.
SpaceWERX is a new Space Force organization that works with small businesses and startups.

After several decades of scientific planning and several tiers of NASA concept reviews, the Compton Spectrometer and Imager (COSI) telescope is finally making its way to space. The $145 million mission is slated to launch sometime in 2025. Once COSI makes it to orbit, this gamma-ray telescope will observe the recent history of star life cycles, help map where certain chemical elements were formed in the Milky Way. Hence,this telescope project will study Milky Way's evolution.
