The MAGNITUDE..swipe left ... its huge and impressive!! We enjoyed our visit so much and were blown away by how awesome it was. If you are in India, you must see one of the seven wonders of the world, The Taj Mahal ताज महल
An immense mausoleum of white marble, built in Agra between 1631 and 1648 by order of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favourite wife, the Taj Mahal is the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage. 🔹️BEST TIME TO VISIT:
The Taj Mahal gets super busy on weekends and during public holidays, so aim for a weekday if possible. March was a beauitul time of year to visit temperature wise. 🔹️OPENING HOURS:
Taj Mahal and complex is OPEN sunrise to sunset every day (06:00 am to 06:30 pm) except Friday. Every Friday the Taj Mahal is closed and only accessible in the afternoon for Muslims to attend prayers. 🔹️TIPS
We stayed at the which offers its guest a 5 minute ride to the entrance via golf cart. We departed the hotel shortly after the sunrise. When we arrived at the entrance there was no line. Lots of people start lining up at 4:30-5am to enter the Taj Mahal Complex... planning to take photos at sunrise with no people. Unfortunately everyone now knows this trick, so its not a trick amymore. when the complex opens at Sunrise its super busy.
