this week we have the very promising Sophie van Hasselt 💌 The Amsterdam-based artist has caught our attention through her imaginative flower child world aesthetic that she has photographed herself. Accompanied by her dreamy sound, which is the perfect antidote to a dull and depressing time. Lifting you up into a world where you can jump from one cloud to another.

Songs like ‘EaT mY bRaiN’ introduce a mellow atmosphere that lead up to a boppy track filled with surprising sounds. She has also produced tracks such as ‘Burning bodies’, filled with euphoric layered vocals and quirky sounds perfect for a day to escape from everything and everyone.

this week, we’d love to introduce the lovely Mazey Haze The Amsterdam-based musician has already built up a respectable following at the young age of 21. Her music is defined by a dreamy style of indie-pop, narrating expressions of deep feelings wrapped in light and cheerful melodies.

this week is the London-based songwriter and producer Ella Eliza. The German-born musician has been meticulously blending Pop, Contemporary RnB and Soultronic since 2018. Her creative blending of these genres has enabled her to make songs that feel familiar but sound original. Ella Eliza, has recently released her EP, INTROSPECTION, which brilliantly showcases these sounds and has been breaking cultural and musical barriers.

With her elegant voice she is able to flow through beats with finesse and energy. Songs such as ‘ALONE WITH YOU’ where you go through emotional breaks and verses, which leads to a soultronic chorus that makes your head bop rigorously. But then she surprises listeners with ‘ARE WE STILL FRIENDS’, where she brings you to a painful place of memories of relationships combined with trap-like productions that give off ethereal vibes.

this week is our very own Len! In the early stages of her growing career, the Spanish artist has already developed a voice that is the quintessence of soul, with introspective lyrics that feel like it’s been written by a virtuoso. The Amsterdam-based musician makes it feel as if the city has its very own Jorja Smith.

The half Zimbabwean and half Spanish soul artist has spent her early years absorbing everything from Nina Simone to Amy Winehouse, developing the genre-hopping tastes that would later define her sound. this week is L.A. based singer-songwriter, Julia Pratt ✨ The Philadelphia-native has a graceful and full-bodied voice that excels in the jazzy pop-vibrations of her music. This week is a young and refreshing artist called Ori Rose. In his early 20s, the LA-based songwriter has already established a refined, mature sound. When listening, it feels like you are driving a Cadillac towards a prepossessing sunset, not totally unalike his music video for the song ‘Casey’.

Specialising in the alternative pop genre, Rose’s music effortlessly projects a sense of playfulness. The Philadelphia native also has an impressive resume as a song-writer, working with the likes of the Jonas Brothers and Jared Leto. His own music is brimming with smooth vocals, crafty wordplay and highly infectious melodies.

this week is New-York City based singer songwriter, Eliza Elliott. Existing in the realm of vibrant, original pop music, Eliza’s authenticity brings something new to the table. After releasing her first EP in 2016, she has developed an arsenal of songs, welding sounds that we are familiar with while adding small intricacies that make them Eliza Elliott-esque.
