This move comes after the Bank of England initially placed SVB UK into insolvency due to concerns over a potential multibillion-pound shortfall on the balance sheet of the US parent company.

Mexican and U.S. authorities have announced that four U.S. citizens were kidnapped in Mexico last week, and two of them have been found dead while the other two have been rescued. According to Tamaulipas Governor Américo Villarreal, one of the surviving U.S. citizens was injured while the other was unharmed. The surviving Americans have been identified as Latavia "Tay" McGee and Eric James Williams.The other two citizens who died were identified to be Shaeed Woodard and Zindell Brown.

The victims were kidnapped while they traveled from South Carolina to Mexico so Washington McGee could undergo a medical procedure across the border on Friday.

Musk had previously informed EU Commissioner Thierry Breton that Twitter would rely further on its AI processes, but Breton advised the company to hire people to comply with the Digital Services Act.
