Hey everyone, now available: a special presentation of the Sparkling Joe Chamberlain Podcast Network! It’s another episode from Sparkling Joe Chamberlain’s father’s old radio show. This episode is The Theodore Chamberlain Program Presented by Freshin-Up Soap Boxing Day special originally broadcast 71 years ago today on December 26th 1949.

If you don’t know what Boxing Day it’s a holiday in the Chamberlain’s ancestral home of Cornwall, England. Well actually all of England, and the lands they used to rule. Except the USA for some reason. We’ve forsaken celebrating Boxing Day for some reason, perhaps out of spite! Anyways it is usually on the day after Christmas, but because it is technically supposed to be on the first WEEKDAY after Christmas this year it is actually on Monday the 28th.

But don’t let that stop you from listening to it earlier! We are fairly sure that no one from the USA has ever been extradited to the UK and punished for violating their infamously severe Boxing Day observance laws. Hey everyone, it's a brand new 35 year old episode of the TV monster movie show Doctor Frankenjoe's Gruesome Picture Show, as hosted by Sparkling Joe Chamberlain in 1984! It was originally broadcast on local Wisconsin UHF channel WLQL TV63 on December 21st 1984, and then recorded by some weirdo onto a VHS tape and saved for the last 35 years until Sparkling Joe Chamberlain recently regained access to it!

It's long been thought that all of the episodes of this Sparkling Joe Chamberlain hosted TV show were lost, because in the mid-1990's the TV station recorded over all the remaining original video tape masters of the show after they ran out of blank tapes and needed to store the reruns of the Suzanne Somers sitcom She's the Sherif that they were playing nightly at the time. But then last year one episode resurfaced from a decades long home made recording, and it was posted on Youtube on Halloween 2018! Now a year later here is another one! How many more of these damn things are floating around out there and when might they also be rediscovered and distributed on the internet? Who knows what the future may hold!

In this episode Sparkling Joe watches the 1960's holiday science fiction classic movie (that also just happens to be in the public domain in the USA) Santa Claus Conquers the Martians! He also watches an extra short feature before hand too. So why not take some time to sit down with your family this holiday season and force them to sit through this show, no matter how boring and/or embarrassing it is?

Now available to watch on the Sparkling Joe Chamberlain Youtube channel is a very rare complete episode of Sparkling Joe Chamberlain's old TV series "Dr. Frankenjoe's Gruesome Picture Show", a monster movie show that Joe hosted for some years on WLQL TV-63! This episode features the movie "Curse of the Swamp Creature" and was recorded by a fan on October 26th 1984. It has now been rescued from that 34 year old VHS tape for everyone to see again!
