*ISIOLO GOVERNOR AND WOMEN REP ATTEMPT TO HIJACK UDA PARTY ELECTIONS BUT THWARTED*

In an amateurish display of political manoeuvring, Isiolo Governor Abdi Guyo and Women Rep Mumina Bonaya have found themselves at the centre of a controversy that has rocked United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party. The two leaders allegedly ferried two matatus full of Isiolo residents to the UDA Party Headquarters in a brazen attempt to circumvent the upcoming grassroots party elections scheduled for the end of this month.

Eyewitnesses report that Governor Guyo and Women Rep Bonaya arrived at the party offices with a delegation of supporters, arguing that a consensus had been reached and that there was no need for the grassroots elections to take place. Good evening fellow residents of Marsabit County,It is my sincere hope and prayer that this finds you well.

As I drop my gubernatorial ambition this afternoon,I am confident that my sister,Hon Naomi Jillo Wako,will take this great community to the next level.This decision came after a wide and lengthy discussion as well as consultation with the community elders and UDA Party leadership here in Nairobi.It was unanimously agreed that the unity of both the community and the Party is of utmost importance than the interest of an individual.

Therefore,as a seasoned leader with whom the community have entrusted with their leadership for nearly 15 years, I find it prudent not to cause any form of division among my beloved community and hence step down for our Deputy Majority chief whip; Hon.Naomi Jillo,for the betterment of the community and pledge my full support for her candidature for Marsabit County gubernatorial seat 2027.This is not an act of cowardice as some might view it but just putting the interest of the community at the forefront;the community that loved me so much that they entrusted me with their leadership over a decade.

To all my loyal supporters and the Borana community at large, I owe you a lot for the love and the trust you always bestowed upon me.Please don't take this as a shock but rather as a jubilation as a lot is coming our way and we can't afford to disappoint this great community and take it back to where it was in 2013-2017 term.

We will stage a demonstration against any attempt to create regions or state in this TIM Counties beside Borana Region, same applies any attempt not to include one or two of this in Borana Region of Kenya. If necessary we will ignite a war against such attempts after 2022.
