How can I help someone with Autism Spectrum Disorder?
Get to know them.
While we’re at it, why not do that with everyone we encounter?
Take a genuine interest in the the interest of people around you. Find out what makes them excited and give them an opportunity to share their joy with you! Isn’t that what we all want?
Are you seeing someone struggle?
Find a way to help and encourage them and allow others to help and encourage you.
This is the connection we need to be making in the world right now: Sharing joy and helping others. That’s what will connect the awesome, unique people on the autism spectrum to the whole world.

What do burpees have to do with autism?
This April, we are teaming up with our friends to help educate the world about Autism Spectrum Disorder. We want to help our friends & family improve autism awareness & acceptance, gain empathy & understanding of individuals with autism, and identify organizations working to enhance the lives of children, men, and women living on the autism spectrum.
As we explore personal growth and development we see the opportunity to make a positive impact on others. We have several friends who have a connection to both Autism and fitness, so our hope is to bring both together in an awesome partnership. Our friend Stacy Van Dam beautifully described this opportunity at hand, “It’s about believing in yourself to overcome an obstacle and helping others do the same.”
How can you help?
✅ Share this post on your Facebook & Instagram
✅ Commit to doing burpees daily for the month of April. You choose the type and number of reps. If you are unable to perform burpees, choose another physical activity that is challenging, but possible.
✅ Share your progress throughout the month with the hashtag #BurpeesForAutism and tag our page Time To Grind.
✅ Follow the Time To Grind podcast page to see new Burpees For Autism posts each week in April.
Please share these posts as they will help others learn more about symptoms, hear a personal story, and learn about an organization you can choose to donate to in their efforts to help individuals & families living on the Autism Spectrum.
