Do you know some of the popular ways to kill a sim in The Sims collection?

1. Build a swimming pool, get a sim to swim in it, and then remove the ladder.

2. Build a small room, get the sim to enter the room, and then remove the door. The sim will not be able to get out, p*e on itself, and later die of hunger, discomfort and insanity. Some even go to the extent of putting garbage and rotten food inside the room so that the sim's need bar drops faster.

And it doesn't have to be just one sim. A player can cram as many sims as they can in the swimming pool or the room and organize a sim massacre.

I tried these once or twice in The Sims 3, and I was appalled at the scenes and at myself for doing that. I thought 'This is wrong. No one should be allowed to do this,' and that's just to some fictional game characters that can easily be recreated time and time again.

Players can even move into NPC's houses and make them theirs, or displace existing households to replace them with new sims!

But now we see that the i0F is doing exactly that to the Pa. l35. Tin!ans. They support the settlers who steal people's houses and farms. They cram the Ga. Za. N civilians behind blockades and deprive them of basic necessities, cutting off everything from phone connection to water. They even b0mb the fishing boats and prevent humanitarian aids from reaching the civilians so those innocent lives starve to death if they don't get b0mbed first.

P/s: No hate to the game. I just notice the similarities between some of the game's features and the current situation.

We did go live last night. We did talk about some of the gaming companies and platforms that were involved with the gen*cide. We did mention some names. We also talked about our future as streamers. Tapi kami stream around setengah jam je because we got cut off (technical issue from our side, not censorship). But since there were only the 2 of us and a viewer in the chat, we decided to tak sambung the live stream. We also didn't keep the video from last night.

Hi everyone. We've been avid gamers for more than a decade now but it wasn't until a week ago when the most recent boycott campaign wave started that we felt the need to do some simple background checks on the video games that we play and their companies. They are, after all, a part of our daily lives no less than all those household products.

As to this date, we had only done research on our mobile game library, specifically the ones that we actively play. We have started on other libraries but it's going to take some time to complete the research on every single one of them. Even though the process has just begun, we've identified some gaming companies affiliated to the you-know-who. Some of them are actively supporting and contributing to the gen*cide.

However, we won't be naming them here. It's up to you to do your own research or ask us about our findings in private. It's also up to you as to what to do with the information you've gathered. Some people might feel okay to keep playing those games as long as they're not spending money, and some might even go to the extent of wiping off years of their data, cancelling their sponsorships and abstaining from playing. The choice is yours.

To those who choose to boycott, we pray that Allah accepts your efforts. To those who can't afford to because it involves your livelihoods, we pray that you'll get the opportunities to do it. Thanks for reading.

Hai semua. Kami mula main video games dah lebih sedekad yang lalu tapi selama ni kami tak pernah terfikir nak ambik tahu asal-usul games yang kami main. Bila gelombang kempen boikot yang terbaru ni bermula barulah kami terdetik nak selidik syarikat-syarikat yang hasilkan video games tu sebab video games pun sebahagian daripada kehidupan kami.

Selama seminggu ni, kami cuma sempat cari tahu pasal mobile games yang kami main secara aktif sahaja. Kami dah mula selidik games dalam library lain tapi akan ambil masa jugaklah nak scan satu-satu sampai habis. Walaupun proses ni baru je bermula, kami dah pun kenal pasti beberapa gaming companies yang bersekutu dengan rejim tersebut, bahkan ada antara mereka yang lantang menyokong dan menyumbang secara aktif kepada kekejaman rejim tersebut.

Kami takkan senaraikan video games atau nama-nama syarikat yang berkenaan. Terpulang pada anda untuk selidik sendiri latar belakang games yang anda main atau tanya kami secara private tentang apa yang kami dah jumpa. Lepas dah tahu nanti pun terpulang pada anda nak buat apa. Ada orang nak teruskan main tanpa keluarkan duit. Ada orang sampai sanggup cuci data yang dah bertahun disimpan, batalkan penajaan dan berhenti main terus. Pilihan di tangan masing-masing.

Kepada yang memilih untuk boikot, semoga usaha anda diterima Allah. Kepada yang tak mampu sebab melibatkan sara hidup, kami doakan supaya anda dibukakan pintu rezeki yang lain yang membolehkan anda boikot. Terima kasih sebab baca sampai sini.

GAME REVIEW:

We Were Here Expeditions: The Friendship

Modus operandi ialah pemain kena lalui tiga ujian di sebuah taman tema yang whimsical untuk hasilkan sebuah bot yang akan dihakimi di penghujung permainan. Sebelum ujian bermula, pemain kena figure out macam mana nak masuk dalam theme park. Bila dah berjaya masuk, pemain akan diberikan sebuah bot kosong untuk memulakan ujian. Selepas tamat setiap ujian, pemain akan diberikan tiket untuk upgrade bot bersesuaian dengan prestasi sewaktu ujian tersebut kemudian teruskan perjalanan ke ujian seterusnya.

Macam games lain dalam siri We Were Here, The Friendship pun kena main berdua. Sebab tu lah nama dia "friend-ship" - pemain dan co-player kena bekerjasama untuk bina the ship, iaitu bot yang Oked cakap tadi. Game ni agak di luar comfort zone Oked, but having an experienced co-player really helps. Selain daripada grafik yang cantik, jalan cerita yang menarik, dan gameplay yang kreatif, game ni menguji kekuatan hubungan di antara co-players. Time ni lah baru kita sedar tahap komunikasi, kerjasama & kepercayaan di antara kita.

Oked main game ni dengan adik Oked. Awal-awal ingat nak cakap BM pasar biasa je tapi once dah masuk dalam game, automatik switch code Kelantan terus sebab itulah bahasa yang kami guna kat rumah. Tolak tepi dah orang lain faham ke tak, asal kami faham satu sama lain 🤣. Tak boleh imagine macam mana kalau main dengan random player.

Gameplay singkat je, 2 jam dah boleh habis. Kalau nak penuhkan achievements, boleh replay sampai puas hati. Kali pertama main, bagi Oked penat jugak nak figure out kena buat apa (kalau tak cheat). Tapi once dah tahu kaedahnya, inshaaAllah smooth je. Seronok!

Game ni percuma je. Boleh download daripada Epic Games (sampai 13 Oktober sahaja), also available on Play Station Store. Adakah game ni buat Oked berminat untuk main semua game dalam We Were Here series*? Jawapannya YA. Tapi memandangkan yang lain semua kena beli (melalui Epic Games, Steam, Play station Store, Xbox), Oked masukkan dalam wishlist je dulu 🤭.

Thank you for tuning in to last night's live stream.
