As a fashion designer, I’m creating my own wedding dress from scratch!
In my last video, I shared the sketch, and now I’m diving into the next step—prepping the pattern. Before I start, I always take detailed notes on the sketch to make sure I get every part just right:
🌸Darts: These will help shape the dress to my body.
🌸Bow Detail on Sleeve: Adding a bow here and making slight adjustments to ensure it sits perfectly on my shoulder.
🌸Sleeve Design: I’ll be opening the sleeve pattern to create that flowy bishop shape.
🌸Zipper & Train Placement: Marking where the zipper ends and where the train begins.
Just to name a few...
With these notes, I’m ready to start building the pattern! 🖊️ Stay tuned to see it all come together.

I recently got engaged, and we decided to elope just a few weeks later! With little time to shop, I needed a beautiful but budget-friendly wedding dress fast. Here are three brands I found that offer gorgeous styles without the high price tag:
The Odd Muse: They have stunning, timeless bridal dresses with a hint of vintage flair, all at an affordable price. Their styles are elegant and sophisticated, making it my top pick!
House of CB: You can shop directly in their bridal section or browse through dresses in white for some unique, non-traditional options—perfect if you’re keeping things simple or eloping.
Meshki: Their wedding section has many beautiful, affordable options. Though I haven’t tried their quality yet, the designs are stylish and worth a look!
If you’re planning a wedding and want to save on the dress, these brands offer beautiful options without breaking the bank! 👗💖

As a fashion designer about to get married in just a few weeks, I decided to make my own wedding dress! Here’s how I sketched out my ideal gown, drawing from my favorite inspiration.🌸
For the top, I chose a structured, fitted bodice with a V or square neckline—clean and flattering, with a defined waistline that gives a nice silhouette. I want the skirt to be form-fitting at the waist but flowy all the way down for an elegant, easy look.🤍
For sleeves, I love the idea of a poofy, sheer bishop sleeve to add some soft, romantic contrast against the more structured bodice. And for the back, I’m planning on an open, minimal look, maybe with a small bow or a belt detail for a sweet finishing touch. I’m even considering a slight train for some added drama!
Now that the sketch is complete, I couldn’t be happier with the design and can’t wait to bring this vision to life. Here’s to hoping the final dress turns out just like this! 👗✨

With only three weeks until our elopement, I’m on a mission to design and make my own wedding dress. Here’s how I’m pulling it all together—and if you're planning any kind of creative project, these tips might help!
To get started, I went straight to Pinterest. I saved every photo that caught my eye, focusing on non-traditional styles. Once I had a bunch of images, I put them into a mood board using Procreate on my iPad. This really helped me see what I was drawn to: things like open backs, sheer flowy sleeves, and a fit that’s comfortable but still flattering.
Creating a mood board helped me get a clear picture of the style I wanted before I even started sketching. It’s a great way to narrow down what you love and keep your vision focused!
Next up, I’ll be sketching my ideas—and I can’t wait to share the process. Stay tuned for more wedding dress updates! 🌸👗✨

I recently got engaged, and like any bride-to-be, I couldn’t wait to start looking for the wedding dress. But as I dove in, I was surprised by how challenging it was to find a beautifully made, high-quality gown that was also affordable.
As a fashion designer, I had some specific wishes: I wanted high-quality fabric, a flattering fit, and a unique design—something that felt like me. Hours of searching later, I realized the perfect dress just wasn’t out there. So, I decided to create it myself!
Join me as I design and make my own wedding dress. I’ll share all the tips, tricks, and insights along the way, from fabric choices to design decisions. Whether you’re considering making your own dress or simply want to know what to look for, let’s explore everything wedding dress-related, designer-to-bride! 💍💖

Here’s how we’ll be wearing denim this fall, inspired by fashion week! 🍂👖🍁
First up is a look from Marimekko at Copenhagen Fashion Week. I love how the pattern blends with a classic button-up shirt and loose pants—so stylish!
Next, Christian Dior brings us a double denim outfit with a retro feel. The jacket and loose pants, combined with a sheer beaded shirt, give off a cool 90s vibe.
Alexander McQueen offers a structured jacket paired with straight jeans, featuring a subtle color detail on the neckline. It’s sleek and elegant!
I’m also into this full denim look by Arrow, with a rolled-up hem and an oversized blazer. It’s casual yet put together.
For something fun, there’s a patchwork onesie with embroidery-like details. It’s modern, funky, and full of energy.
Finally, a simple but stunning denim ensemble with a great silhouette and patterned jeans. It’s effortlessly chic!
I’m excited to try these denim trends this fall! 🍂👖

Hello and welcome to the final part of our sewing adventure! 🎉
Today, we’re adding the finishing touches to our beautiful skirt:
1️⃣ Finishing the Hem - Let's complete the hem we ironed yesterday. Almost there!
2️⃣ Sewing the Elastic Canal - I’ll show you how to double fold and iron the fabric, sew the canal, and leave a tiny opening for the elastic.
3️⃣ I’m using a cute 2.5cm elastic band for the waist, and I'll insert it with a little pin to make it super easy. I’ll ensure the fabric wrinkles just right and fits perfectly before securing the elastic with two snug stitches.
4️⃣ Then, we’ll sew up the tiny opening.
✨ And ta-da! My skirt is done, and I’m head over heels in love with it! 💖
If you’d like to see the full, detailed video, it’ll be up on my YouTube channel in a few days. Can’t wait to share it with you all!

Day 4: Sewing the Skirt 🌸
Today, I continued working on the skirt, focusing on the pockets and assembling the main pieces. 🎀🪡 Here's a step-by-step of what I did:
1️⃣ Preparation:
I started by overlooking all four sides of the pockets.
Measured and decided where to place the pockets on the skirt.
2️⃣ Pinning and Sewing:
Pinned the pockets in place on the skirt.
Sewed the pockets to the skirt using the sewing machine, ensuring all four sides were secured.
3️⃣ Overlocking:
Overlocked the front and back of the skirt with the pockets attached.
Overlocked all four sides of the skirt.
4️⃣ Assembling the Skirt:
Placed the front and back of the skirt together and pinned them.
Made a long stitch along the side to attach everything, including the pockets.
5️⃣ Final Touches:
Once stitched, it started to look like a wearable piece of clothing.
Ironed the seams apart and also the hem and upper part for the elastic.
Finishing Up:
🎀In the final part, I will attach the elastic, and the skirt will be complete.
Here's a snapshot of today's progress, highlighting the stitching and ironing. 🪡Can't wait to see the finished product!🧵
