Warren Borow is a multi-published author of a wide range of cocktail books. Publishing 6 books in the last decade, he has been recognised for his work appearing in magazines, being nominated for awards, and teaching classes, passing on his trade to others.
Warren dove into the cannabis space when he published his book Cannabis Cocktails, Mocktails & Tonics: The Art of Spirited Drinks & Buzz-Worthy Libations. He currently makes his living in the Cannabis Industry having in prior years supported craft spirits focusing on craft Bourbon and unmanipulated rum. Warren also presented at 2018’s SXSW: Disrupting the Cannabis Kitchen and Cannabis Cocktails.

PEACE News & Views tonight, joint hosts Siir SteveO & Kim Cooper are joined by Alex Jordan from Mythic Genetics on NOK Network
Alex Jordan started growing cannabis in 2003. He consumes for medical purposes to treat panic disorder as well as anxiety, utilizing cannabis to replace all his pharmaceutical medications previously prescribed by doctors. Alex was drawn into the world of genetics and started breeding in 2010, crossing a few of his favorite strains to attempt to come up with an herb that would cover all his medicinal needs. He really started taking breeding seriously in 2016, when he ramped up on a much larger scale, in production as well as variety. "The chase for new flavor has always been the drive, I chase Terps!" Alex says.
Mythic Genetics LLC was officially formed in 2020 and is currently based in Missouri. Alex's passion for the plant has evolved over time, starting with chasing terps and expanding from there to include the caregiving side. Alex has always been mindful of making sure the patients he has counting on genetics are always taken care of, so they never have to spend a dime on medication, they can grow their needs with Mythic Genetics.
While a patient himself and operating his biz with a focus on patient care, Alex also just loves the plant, the community, and yes, the Fun.

During the Summer of 1996, the newspapers were focused on a case before the courts. Terry Parker Jr had some plants seized and was arrested during a raid. He said the plants were his medicine and he had a right to have them. This was the first case for patients rights to consume natural therapy in Canada
Terry Parker’s case was heard in court in December 1997. “Judge Patrick Sheppard ruled that certain sections of the Controlled Drug and Substances Act are unconstitutional in cases where marijuana is used for medically-approved purposes.”
The case was appealed by the crown, eventually Terry prevailed in all appeals. This is the case that lead to the change in Canada’s cannabis laws. It was the birth of the Canadian Medical Cannabis Program, later named the MMAR.
Terry's medical issues were caused by the medical system. Healthy and issue free, Terry's seizures began after an inoculation in 1963 which started a seizure condition. He was subjected to a non-consensual classified brain surgical experimentation by Neurosurgeon Dr. Harold Joseph Hoffman. Terry's Mother and other parents of neurological disabled children, were informed of "scar tissue removal" as to address the seizure disorder. This operation was not conducive for treating seizure disorder, according to current research. Terry's X-ray's clearly show 43 metallic implants in the cerebral cortex, which are not documented in his medical records, anywhere.
Now, Terry says he has found further evidence of an extended cover-up of experimental surgeries taking place, with connections that weave their way south of the border, all the way to Washington DC and he is speaking up about his findings once again.

HighZenHerb founder & Cannabis substitution program warrior Highzenherbs Dan Borchardt is described as a passionate activist, having two disabled brothers who both use cannabis to manage their symptoms. Dan started his company HighZenHerb back in 2014
Dan has seen the results utilizing this plant as a medicine, and backing the concept that high dose edibles not only get people off of hard drugs. he personally witnessed over a half dozen individuals successfully treated using cannabis to replace opioids. So, he formed a team, created products, canvassed for donations and started an arm of the Cannabis Substitution Program in a new location in Langley BC to reach even more people in need.
Adam Macgillivray grew up in northern Ontario. in the district of Sault ste. Marie, then moved to British Columbia when he was 23.
After a few years of working for others, Adam launched his own medibles brand, Madd Hatter. During the first 3 years of launching Madd Hatter, Adam donated regularly to the Vancouver Cannabis Substitution Program Vancouver and developed a friendship with a man Adam would come to call his mentor, Neil Magnuson. Adam spent 3 years working with Neil on the CSP management team until recently.
Together these 2 Cannabis Substitution Program advocate had a meeting with the Vancouver Mayors office to try and pass on some education to city hall about the program & their goals, while also looking for support from the city for the CSP chapters now operating not only in Vancouvers lower east side, but also in other area's of the province. A nod from the largest city in BC would go a long way in other jurisdictions across the province, and perhaps the country.
