The USA and Pakistani leaders have spoken by telephone about Afghan peace.
Both the White House and the Prime Minister's Office have Also confirmed the talks between US President Donald Trump and Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The two leaders discussed US efforts to bring peace to Afghanistan, the prime minister's office said in a statement.
According to the statement, Imran Khan reiterated that Pakistan was helping to pave the way for the Afghan peace process.
