The event brought together over 200 participants, including publication advisers and campus writers from across the Bicol Region. It was hosted by the University of Saint Anthony (USANT) and organized by the Association of Tertiary Schools Publication Advisers of Bicol (ATSPAB).

๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š | BCAEd Department was hailed as the five-time champion in the Cheer and Dance Competition 2024 garnering an average of 98%.

Maky Bonita, cheerleader expressed his delight in the result of the said competition.

"Actually, kinabahan din kami because ang ibang department is palaban talaga, so ginawa po namin ang aming best para makuha namin ang pang-fifth champion[ship] and nagawa namin, so I'm so happy po," Bonita said.

Meanwhile, the Financial Management Department achieved the second place with a 95.8% average followed by the Marketing Management Department with 91.2%.

The Bachelor of Secondary Education Department ranked as the 4th placer having 87.2%, the ABSECOHM Department with 81.4% landed in the 5th place, while the BEED Department finished in 6th with an 80.2% rating.

After the suspension of activities due to Typhoon Nika, SJCC is set to resume its much-awaited Intramural 2024 as weather conditions improve. The Office of the College Administrator has announced that with the lifting of the typhoon signal in Albay, all Intramural events will proceed with adjusted schedules.

๐—๐—จ๐—ฆ๐—ง ๐—œ๐—ก: SJCC Intramural 2024 has been postponed indefinitely due to Typhoon Signal No. 1 now in effect over Malilipot. This includes all activities, such as the foot parade, mass demonstration, and events initially scheduled for tomorrow, November 10, 2024.

Meanwhile, classes will continue via modular and asynchronous modalities until further notice.

Ang mga residente ng Malilipot ay pinapayuhang maghanda sa posibleng malalakas na hangin at ulan na dulot ng bagyo, na maaaring magresulta sa pagbaha at landslide.

Kasama sa mga naapektuhang lugar ang mga karatig-bayan ng Malinao, Tiwi, Bacacay, Rapu-rapu, at ang lungsod ng Tabaco.

๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š | Awarding of the Top 20 Governor's List took place today, November 6, 2024, at San Jose Community College.

A total of 258 students received cash incentives, presented by Acting Governor Glenda Ong Bongao.

Bongao quoted, "Education is the only cycle that can end poverty.โ€

She encouraged the students to work harder in their studies.

"Nunggad maging inspirasyon kamo sa mga estudyante na mag-excel academically," she added. | via Janna Missy Benitez
