Why did I decide to work as a freelancer?

In the fourth quarter of last year, I went through an extremely trying period in my life. I wasn't sure what to do, where to go, or how I was going to do it. I began to question my own worth and financial freedom.
Fortunately, I was able to overcome it with the help of a friend. Her name is Sarah, and she has been working as a freelancer for quite some time. She showed me around her universe.

At first, maraming what if's.. ucertainties and most of all doubts. Pero, I thought.. cge, why not give it a try.

And so, with no skills and no understanding how it would work, I jumped into it. I began learning all of the necessary skills by attending free webinars, watching YouTube videos, and conducting extensive research.
Sariling kayod talaga. Wala naman akong pera to pay for trainings.

And presto, I had my first client. I was overjoyed.
I find delight in knowing that I can work whenever and wherever I choose, that I can go to work even in my pjs, that I can spend time and attend to my children's needs while working, and that I don't have to worry about rising up early or having hustling on commutes. All of this is something I can do while making money.

Working from home has also been quite beneficial to me. I enjoyed learning new things, and there were no restrictions on your abilities.

And today, I commit and embrace my freelancing journey. 😊😊
