🏆 Sunday is our 8th Yugioh Master Duel tournament! We will start the stream with some Fire Emblem before we drop start the tourney at 8PM EST so I’ll see yall 5:30PM EST

On Episode 91 of the ENFERNAL GAMING PODCAST, I rated The First Descendant (PS5) a 7/10

7 of the scale means GOOD

I really like a deep game that allows you to wind down and just shoot a bunch of brainless enemies with the guys. I’m dead serious. That’s what this game is. You run around with your squad of 4 players and you shoot stuff until the mission is complete. Sounds boring? Well, no it’s really not. The main mechanic of this game is leveling up your descendants, getting new weapons and equipment to make them stronger and farming missions repeatedly until you get what materials you need to unlock a new Legendary weapon or character. This games kind of a hard sell. You have to like games like Warframe or Destiny 2 to really have any fun or appreciation for the game. The micro transactions do speed up the grind but are costly and sometimes borderline invasive. All in all, it’s a great game to throw up a podcast to or some music and just blast away with the boys.

➕ Lots of Weapons with different feels to create your perfect loadout
➕ Almost everything can be earned by grinding in game
➕ Cool character Designs
➕ Crossplay & Cross progression allow you to play with anyone, anywhere regardless of platform

➖ Enemies are not challenging and almost cannon fodder
➖ Terrible boss mechanics
➖ Invasive Microtransaction strategies
➖ Story is a bit weak

📸 Dogma Arisen

Dragons Dogma II is probably one of my favorite games of 2024 so far; if not my favorite. I takes a lot of the RPG mechanics I love from other games and redefines them. Currently on my second playthrough of the game after completing the True Ending!

On Episode 88 of the ENFERNAL GAMING PODCAST, I rated Destiny 2: The Final Shape (PS5) a 9/10

9 on the scale means AMAZING. It also has the LITTY GANG SEAL OF APPROVAL 🥇

My excitement for The Final Shape was mixed. I was excited to see the end of this 10 year story unfold but I still had a bad taste in my mouth from the previous expansion, Lightfall. Fortunately for me, this expansion is very good! Seeing the story unravel itself with a new location and good story telling (crazy to say about Destiny 2) thru cutscenes that flesh out our guardian and the rest of the vanguard. This expansion doesn’t fix the issues this now 10 year old engine has, but builds on it a satisfying ending with a lot of new content (PVE wise) to sink your teeth in. Priced at $50 seems fair but if you’re unsure, save your money for a sale.

➕ Excellent epilogue to a 10 year story
➕New sub class is great and allows you to make the character you want!
➕Missions have been restructured with new puzzles to engage in to defeat bosses and areas

➖Really no new enemy types
➖ No new PVP content on release
