Unpopular opinion: Freelancing is one HELL OF A RIDE! 🥵

But totally WORTH IT!

I was 17, a typical teen scrolling on TikTok when I found out about freelancing and it got my interest. I always knew it won’t be easy but I didn’t also realize how hard it is. 😅

Imagine sending hundreds of emails, attending countless calls, and creating so many proposals, but still not getting any clients. Just like anyone else, I thought of stopping.

But for some reason, I can’t. Something inside me craves for it, I want to prove myself I can. I wanted to become my kind of HER, and I’m glad I continued.

Hello, virtual friends!!! 👋🏻

It’s been almost over a year since I’ve been actively posting here on IG (I know it’s too long 😅) and I guess it’s time for what you call… COMEBACK. 🙈

So many new faces here so I’m here again to re-introduce myself!

I’m Cassandra, 19, from the PH 🇵🇭. I’m a Social Media Strategist for beauty & aesthetics brands. I’ve been in the freelance world for over 2 years now!

Here are a few more fun facts about me: ↓

❊ I started working and freelancing at 17! Since then, I’ve been a working student. I’m currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in NURSING (yes, quite different from my marketing endeavors LOL)

❊ I’m a coffee-fueled person. I won’t be able to start my day and won’t be able to function properly without drinking coffee first. ☕️

❊ I have a love-hate relationship with favorites! As an indecisive person, choosing just one thing as a favorite feels impossible.

❊ I wear many hats! Singing, baking, dancing, doing makeup, managing businesses, hitting the gym, and more – I’m a bit of a Jack (or Jill) of all trades. 🤪

Returning here was worth celebrating after a long hiatus in the fast-paced freelancing environment. But what’s important is I’m finally showing up again — with more passion and value.
