I had an argument with God about purgatory. How could someone good send a baby or small child there instead of letting them in to heaven? The wind blew hard, I had a pain in my ribs that brought me to my knees. It was then I understood. Purgatory is not the aweful image I had in my head, it is a beautiful place protected by the fiercest of angels.
