It is already 18 September 2023 and I live in Great Brak River and I have still not been able to draw my SASSA payment from the Post Office as they have no funds. I was told that they have put forward our names but have as yet had no funds supplied. The excuse is that they have had a few robberies (which is true) so they bank their funds and now have to battle to get funds to pay the SASSA grants. Three days ago the post office was able to advance me R400 of my old-age pension until they receive funds to fully pay out a number of old-age pensions. I am still waiting to draw the balance of my SASSA old-age pension.
The mother of a grade 6 learner at Onismus primary school at Tafelkop, near Groblersdal went to the school to find out who is the teacher that called her daughter by the name 'Sefefe', apparently the school officials is refusing to reveal the identity of that teacher to the parent. According to the learner, she is the same teacher who once slapped a six year old grade R girl to the ground. The unfortunate part is that this incident happened in the Sekhukhune district of Limpopo where the HD is Mr. Nkadimeng who does not care about the safety of the learners. I personally reported the incident where my daughter was beaten by the teacher and also send him the pictures of my daughter's blue bums about four years ago, and he did nothing.
