My favourite Johns. Have such a connection to this band, because every time I see them it’s just a huge gathering of all the best people I know and such a community spirit. We’re all mad on JOHN and they keep getting better and better. Couldn’t wait to see how beefy their bass amp would sound in this set today.

I can’t shake the feeling of today being Ritual Union Bristol - the line up of dreams in our favourite venues all neatly situated together for minimal missing of our favourite acts. Instead of moping over cancelled gigs I’m still using the time to blare our my favourite songs, dance in my bedroom and hype up musicians who will have lost gigs and may be struggling right now.

Today I’ll be jamming up your newsfeed with some super-talented musicians in tribute. If you like what you see and have any spare moneys at all, please pay for a download or check out their merch. Merch is usually the main source of income for bands and gives you a whole new wardrobe after every festival if you’re anything like me. I owe a lot to the gig scene and want to make sure there’s still one to go back to when this isolation period is over.

Pheww ! Valentines Day might have been last week but we are really feeling the love today. Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who came and made the launch party so much fun, and special thanks to BRASHER BLACK FLIES DIRT and Phil Russell for putting on a real show and setting the perfect vibes for TWO.
