We discussed that how you approach stress and challenges and of course how you chose to overcome them is up to you. There are so many things you can add to your toolbox in order to feel like you are prepared for whatever it is that Military Life might choose to throw at you. In her newest book she goes into those things in more detail but some suggestions she had were:

1. Journaling
2. Exercising
3. A Visual Reminder
4. A mantra or family mantra
5. Goal setting
6. Breathing
7. Listing out your wins or gratitude
Finding a self-awareness of how you take on the challenges, and realizing what works and doesn’t work for you to overcome those things is very important. “You have a choice everyday to embrace your situation or to be miserable” and we all hope you will take the journey to shift your mindset to a more positive one and overcome it!
