A New York City Black Lives Matter group threatened NYC Mayor-elect Eric Adams with “riots” and “bloodshed” if Adams restores the New York City Police Department’s anti-crime units. The police anti-crime units were disbanded last year in reaction to Black Lives Matter protests and riots and calls to “defund” police departments. Adams, a Democrat, won election after campaigning on a tough-on-crime agenda and pledging to restore the NYPD’s anti-crime units. Adams met with leaders of New York City’s Black Lives Matter movement at Brooklyn Borough Hall. After the meeting, Hawk Newsome, co-founder of Black Lives Matter of Greater New York, and his sister Chivona Newsome, also a co-founder of the group, threatened civil unrest and violence if Adams kept to his campaign pledge.

The FBI raided the home of Project Veritas founder James O'Keefe as part of a federal investigation into the "stolen" diary of President Biden's daughter, Ashley Biden.

The New York Times reported the raid took place early Saturday morning just days after the homes of two Project Veritas associates were also the subject of search warrants.

A spokesman for the FBI told the Times its agents had "performed law enforcement activity" at his apartment building in Mamaroneck, New York, but did not comment on the investigation.

White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Thursday that President Joe Biden was “perfectly comfortable” with giving payouts to illegal aliens who were separated at the border from their families under the prior administration. Jean-Pierre’s remarks come after Biden himself said yesterday, “That’s not going to happen,” when asked about the administration potentially giving $450,000 payouts to illegal aliens. The Washington Post and The New York Times both later confirmed the report from The Wall Street Journal. The payouts would be in response to lawsuits filed against the U.S. government.

Lauren Roupoli, along with other parents at the Los Alamitos Unified School District, addressed the board with her thoughts on mask and vaccine mandates. Eventually, Board President Marlys Davidson told Roupoli her time was up, according to public video of the meeting, and called up the next parent. Roupoli concluded, and Davidson mumbled under her breath "f--- you," which was picked up by her mic. Attendees of the meeting, who had been applauding Roupoli moments before, fell into a stunned silence, along with the board.

Netflix protesters upset about the streaming company’s decision to air Dave Chappelle’s comedy special, in which the legendary controversial comedian says he aligns with “trans-exclusionary radical feminists” and pokes fun at transgender ideology, attacked a counter-protester with a sign that read “We Like Dave” on one side and “Jokes Are Funny” on the other, destroying the sign and then claiming the man, who was left holding the sign handle, had “a weapon” and was threatening demonstrators.

Netflix's trans employee resource group (ERG) gave the company a list of demands ahead of its planned walkout on Wednesday, which was published by The Verge on Monday. Though the employees seek a larger role for transgender people at the company and more trans-positive content on the streaming service, removing Dave Chappelle's controversial standup special, The Closer, was not included on the list. "We want the company to adopt measures in the areas of content investment, employee relations and safety, and harm reduction, all of which are necessary to avoid future instances of platforming transphobia and hate speech," the employees wrote in a statement supplied to The Verge.

One of the world’s leading medical journals decided to emblazon its front cover by describing women as “bodies with vaginas.” The Lancet culled the phrase from a September 1 article titled “Periods on Display.” It “examines an exhibition exploring the taboos and history of periods at the Va**na Museum in London and sees the writer use the word ‘women’ but also use the term ‘bodies with vaginas,’” The Daily Mail reported.

Two white students at Arizona State University were forced out of a 'multicultural learning space' after two female BLM activists took issue with the Police Lives Matter stickers on their laptops. The incident, which took place at the college's Phoenix campus on Thursday, was recorded by one of the woke activists before it was shared to their Instagram page. President Joe Biden’s administration released a long-awaited report on Friday afternoon about the origins of SARS-CoV-2. The report gave no definitive answers, was relatively soft on China, and effectively stated that the origins of the coronavirus will never be known without China’s cooperation.
The unclassified version of the report, which was just a little over one page long, said that the outbreak happened no later than November 2019 and that it initially started with “small-scale exposure” in Wuhan, China.

The report, which was released by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, claimed that the agencies reached “broad agreement on several other key issues,” including that the coronavirus was “not developed as a biological weapon,” even though the lab was reportedly working on classified research for the Chinese military.

President Joe Biden will reportedly pull U.S. forces out of Afghanistan by August 31, bucking calls from U.S. lawmakers and international leaders to extend the self-imposed deadline until evacuations are complete.

Biden’s decision risks pulling out U.S. forces before all American citizens and U.S. allies are evacuated from the country, now under Taliban control. The president’s decision comes after the Taliban says there will be “consequences” against the U.S. if it failed to meet the August 31 deadline.
