New York's Museums: American Museum of Natural History

The American Museum of Natural History is a world-renowned research and exhibition institution located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York City. The museum is home to a vast collection of specimens and artifacts, including more than 33 million specimens of plants, animals, fossils, minerals, rocks, meteorites, and human cultural artifacts. It is one of the largest museums of its kind in the world.

The museum's exhibits are organized into a number of different halls, each focusing on a different area of science or natural history. Some of the museum's most popular exhibits include the Hall of Dinosaurs, the Rose Center for Earth and Space, the Hall of Human Origins, the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life, and the Hall of Biodiversity. New York's Museums: The Museum of Modern Art

New York's Museum of Modern Art (or just the ""MoMA"") is the mother of all modern art museums.

It was founded in 1929 by Abby Aldrich Rockefeller, wife of John D Rockefeller, and two of her friends.

The main location is in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, on 53rd Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues.

In 2021 it was the 15th most-visited art museum in the world.

A must see for all modern art fans!

New York's Museums: The Metropolitan Museum of Art

New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art (or just ""The Met"") is the mother of all museums in the Americas.

It was founded in 1870 and is in fact the largest art museum in all of the Americas. The permanent collection contains over two million works.

The main location is at 1000 Fifth Avenue, along Museum Mile.

In 2021 it was the fourth most-visited art museum in the world.

The World's Skinniest Skyscraper is in New York City

The world's skinniest skyscraper is now open at 111 West 57th Street. It measures 1,428-foot-tall and 91 stories high, and overlooks Central Park South. It's built on a site once ownerd by the Steinway & Sons piano company, and is hence also known as the Steinway tower.
