ATM cash withdrawal rules to change from Jan 1

Customers will have to pay more if they exceed the free ATM transaction limit from January 1, 2022 as Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has decided to hike the charges on withdrawals for every public and private bank. The central bank has permitted banks to increase charges for cash and non-cash ATM transactions beyond the free monthly permissible limit.

Hyderabad: KTR launches APJ Abdul Kalam flyover at Owaisi junction

Built as part of the government of Telangana’s Strategic Road Development program (SRDP), the flyover is 1.36 kilometers long and 12 meters wide.

A three-lane one-directional flyover constructed at the Owaisi-Midhai Junction was inaugurated by Municipal Administration minister KT Rama Rao, Home minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Education minister Sabitha Indra reddy and AIMIM MLA AKbaruddin Owaisi on tuesday.

The police in Hyderabad arrested three drug peddlers and seized 183 grams of co***ne and 44 ecstasy pills on Thursday.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Stephen Ravindra said acting on credible information, Special Operations Team (SOT) Madhapur arrested the accused and seized the drugs worth over Rs 26 lakh.

The police apprehended two men — Rameshwara Sravan Kumar and Gorentla Charan Teja at Gachibowli under the limits of Raidurgam police station and recovered two grams of co***ne.

India reports 7,081 coronavirus infections, 264 deaths in a day

As many as 7,081 people tested positive for coronavirus infection in a day in India, as per the data by the Union health ministry on Sunday. The country's total tally of cases rose to 3,47,40,275, while the active cases declined to 83,913, the lowest in 570 days, the health ministry said.
