The screenplay was written by Garrett Fort, based on the 1924 stage play Dracula by Hamilton Deane and John L. Balderston, which in turn was adapted from the 1897 novel Dracula by Bram Stoker.

This masterpiece of a film stars the brilliant Bela Lugosi.

It was adapted from an original screenplay by Dardano Sacchetti to serve as a sequel to George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead (1978). The film was released in Italy with the title Zombi. It stars Tisa Farrow, Ian McCulloch, and Richard Johnson.

The score features frequent Fulci collaborator, Fabio Frizzi. Some awesome sounds coming from this one!
