Six years ago, young Ravi while fighting his biggest battle, dreamt of just running a short distance marathon while laying on the hospital’s bed with multiple incisions, not caring about what can the repercussions be.

Back then 21 Infliximab injections were infused to cure the disease but it didn’t work on my body and its after effects are very much felt till now. Somedays even getting out of bed feels painful.

But the dream to complete half marathon under 2hrs finally came true irrespective of how my life is.

I feel so GRATEFUL for this second life. Every difficult situation feels so beautiful & easy when I think about my past. Will keep on training & the dream to complete The Ironman Triathlon is very much alive.

3years ago, post multiple surgeries and 52stitches on my abdomen, I was super scared to rejoin my swimming classes and today (3rd August 2022) i managed to do 970mtrs of Freestyle under 45minutes and the last 50mtrs freestyle in 43seconds(my personal best).

Kept on believing in myself, kept on believing in the process.
The dream of participating in Ironman Triathlon is not far .🧿
