Avatar 3 is an upcoming American epic science fiction film directed, written, со-produced, and co-edited by James Cameron. It is the third film in Cameron’s Avatar franchise, and a sequel to Avatar: The Way of Water (2022). Cameron is producing the film with Jon Landau. Cameron stated that Avatar: The Seed Bearer is being considered as a possible title for the film.
Cameron, who had stated in 2006 that he would like to make sequels to Avatar if it was successful, announced the first two sequels in 2010 following the widespread success of the first film, with Avatar 3 aiming for a 2015 release. However, the addition of three more sequels (four in total), and the necessity to develop new technology in order to film performance capture scenes underwater, a feat never accomplished before, led to significant delays to allow the crew more time to work on the writing, pre-production, and visual effects. Avatar 3 started shooting simultaneously with Avatar: The Way of Water in New Zealand on September 25, 2017; filming completed in late-December 2020, after over three years of shooting.
The film’s theatrical release has been subject to eight delays, with the latest occurring on July 23, 2020;[8] it is scheduled for release on December 20, 2024. Two additional sequels are in various stages of production and are expected to be released on December 18, 2026, and December 22, 2028, respectively.

Joining Nanjiani, who portrayed the hero-turned-Bollywood star, Kingo, the film saw Gemma Chan as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Lauren Ridloff, as Makkari, Barry Keoghan as Druig, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Salma Hayek as Ajak, and Angelina Jolie as Thena.
Unfortunately, Eternals’ A-list cast could not save it from middling reviews from both critics and audiences alike. With a rating of 47 percent on the review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes, the film is rated the lowest out of any MCU film in its history. Released on August 21, 1998, Blade was a commercial success, grossing $70 million at the U.S. box office, and $131.2 million worldwide. 🎬 HIGHLANDER (2026) Reboot Starring Henry Cavill
For the first time, Lionsgate will be launching sales at the AFM on their long-gestating fantasy reboot which has Henry Cavill aboard to star as the eponymous Scottish swordsman and John Wick filmmaker Chad Stahelski set to direct.
We hear this will be a big-budget proposition, north of $100M. Stahelski himself has previously talked about it as akin to John Wick with swords. The team is eyeing a 2024 start.
The new movie will be based on the 1986 original, which starred Christopher Lambert, Sean Connery and Clancy Brown as immortal beings, hunting down one another and collecting more power. The time-jumping film — with its “There can be only one” tagline — spawned four sequels and three TV series including the popular USA series starring Adrian Paul. Queen memorably provided the soundtrack for the original movie.
Producing the reboot are Joshua Davis, Fast And The Furious producer Neal H. Moritz, Stahelski (thru his 87Eleven Entertainment production company) and Louise Rosner.
The current draft of the screenplay is by Mike Finch. The late Peter S. Davis, producer of the original Highlander, initiated development of the new film. Summit first acquired remake rights to the original in 2008.

The Karate Kid is a 1984 American martial arts drama film written by Robert Mark Kamen and directed by John G. Avildsen. It is the first installment of the Karate Kid franchise and stars Ralph Macchio, Pat Morita, Elisabeth Shue and William Zabka. The Karate Kid follows Daniel LaRusso (Macchio), a teenager who is taught karate by Mr. Miyagi (Morita) to help him defend himself and compete in a tournament against his bullies, one of whom is Johnny Lawrence (Zabka), the ex-boyfriend. of his love interest Ali Mills (Shue).
Kamen was approached by Columbia Pictures to score a film similar to Avildsen’s previous hit, Rocky (1976), after hiring the director. Kamen was inspired by his own life when writing the film. As a result, he held strong opinions about the cast and strongly requested Morita’s inclusion. Preparations for the film began immediately after final editing of the script was completed, with casting taking place between April and June 1983. Principal photography began on October 31, 1983 in Los Angeles and was completed on the 16th. December 1983. The film was Macchio’s second major role after The Outsiders (1983).

Apocalypto 2
In the fan-made teaser trailer for “Apocalypto 2,” Mooch Entertainment imagines a gripping continuation of Mel Gibson’s 2006 epic. The teaser opens with a panoramic view of the lush Mesoamerican jungle, now more menacing and foreboding. The camera then zooms into a shadowy, ancient city, its once vibrant colors now muted and decayed. The haunting, tribal soundtrack sets a tense atmosphere, hinting at the dark events to come.
The trailer introduces a new protagonist, a fierce warrior from a rival tribe who appears to be on a quest for vengeance. Through intense, fast-cut scenes, we see glimpses of battles, rituals, and a world on the brink of upheaval. The narrative suggests that the peace won by the original film’s hero is now under threat from internal and external forces. The returning threat is hinted at through ominous imagery of mysterious artifacts and a new, formidable antagonist who seems to hold a dark secret.

Fantastic 4
Now that multi-million dollar movies and streaming services are the preferred way to absorb superhero content, the popularity rankings have shifted dramatically. It’s almost hard to recall a time before Iron Man and Rocket Raccoon were big names, but some former legends have lost some of their iconography. Avatar 3 is an upcoming American epic science fiction film directed, written, со-produced, and co-edited by James Cameron. It is the third film in Cameron’s Avatar franchise, and a sequel to Avatar: The Way of Water (2022). Cameron is producing the film with Jon Landau. James Cameron, Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, Josh Friedman and Shane Salerno were involved in the writing process. Cast members Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, Jemaine Clement, Britain Dalton, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, Jack Champion, Bailey Bass, Filip Geljo, Dileep Rao, Matt Gerald, and Giovanni Ribisi reprise their roles from previous films, with Michelle Yeoh, David Thewlis, and Oona Chaplin portraying new characters. Cameron stated that Avatar: The Seed Bearer is being considered as a possible title for the film.
Cameron, who had stated in 2006 that he would like to make sequels to Avatar if it was successful, announced the first two sequels in 2010 following the widespread success of the first film, with Avatar 3 aiming for a 2015 release. However, the addition of three more sequels (four in total), and the necessity to develop new technology in order to film performance capture scenes underwater, a feat never accomplished before, led to significant delays to allow the crew more time to work on the writing, pre-production, and visual effects. Avatar 3 started shooting simultaneously with Avatar: The Way of Water in New Zealand on September 25, 2017; filming completed in late-December 2020, after over three years of shooting.
The film’s theatrical release has been subject to eight delays, with the latest occurring on July 23, 2020;[8] it is scheduled for release on December 20, 2024. Two additional sequels are in various stages of production and are expected to be released on December 18, 2026, respectively.
