Chances are high it was a person in the group of their members that don't dig me telling the truth about what actually happened to me. Interesting.

I was wondering (today 11/12/22) about all of the other people that have escaped scientology (like me). People that were raised in it. People that are adults now trying to live a decent life.

We had "take responsibility" beaten and embedded into our thoughts, soul and brains. That means ALL sides - even the side(s) you have zero control over.

Are you able to just stop that feeling (and then the guilt that follows when things didn't go as expected)?

Are you able to have compassion for people now? Was it difficult to do?

Are you able to love people and then actually show your love?

Are you able to trust people? Everyone is an enemy in scientology and you have to be so careful with those you trust...and that is a false trust anyway because in scientology you just turn everyone in that you feel isn't following the policies. scientology is a snitching culture. They eat their young to further their goals (which seem to be collecting real estate and lieing about how many members there are).

I realized today that
1) I still take way too much responsibility in my life and I don't think that's a good thing to "turn down" or "turn off"
2) The feeling of guilt is there when something goes off the plan. I still contemplate how I caused it to happen, no matter the circumstances.
3) I have learned what compassion is and I feel like I have it in every fiber of my life for everyone and every creature in my world. This is a feeling I had to practice because I did not have it EVER growing up. I did not experience it from others and I did not give it.
4) I trust way beyond what I should and it gets me in trouble. I think the compassion button above is why. I first trust that someone is saying or doing something honestly but that was NOT how I was raised. I do not feel like snitching on people that break the trust but I do feel hurt from it and that leaves a scar that I think about.

Overall, starting in the 1970's, my mind was built by scientology until my mom died. It's all I knew and understood and believed in. Some things are great and I am glad I have them "in me" like the responsiblity aspect of life.

I do believe we are responsible for the space we are in and the only way to change it is for us to do something about it if we don't dig it. If we dig it, then we have to realize what is creating it (actual actions, thoughts) and then do those things and enjoy the rewards of it.

It is puzzling to me that our society seems to be turning toward making people irresponsible. There are no penalties for making errors that hurt other people. Criminals are digging this concept. Criminals live amongst us and get away with hurting people (even slightly) for their betterment. I despise this behavior personally.

I'm thinking I might start podcasting again.

For now, just had a thought as I was brushing my teeth getting ready for a busy day of helping people with medicare.

I am at a place of peace with my life and happiness because everything is where it should be (including the lessons) and I'm willing to be responsible for it all.
