“I didn't want it to be a really small version of a big box store with fluorescent lighting and white walls,” Colton Cauthen says. “We wanted to create something that just really, felt magical.”
The shop has a whimsical book arch made from hardcover books, colorful murals depicting classic books and a movable book letter to reach the highest shelves. Customers have compared Jack’s Books to the library in Beauty and the Beast and said the bookshop was reminiscent of Harry Potter or stepping through the wardrobe in the Chronicles of Narnia.
