My Thoughts:
Wow wow wow. This book was so good! It is everything you want in a fantasy! I could not put this book down. Karys blames the gods for the death of her sister and won't stop fighting until they've been destroyed. Dravyn is the God of Fire and he knows all the right buttons to push. The tension between the two of them is so good. Their banter is witty and sharp and I couldn't get enough of it. The side characters in the god realm were funny and actually played a part in the story.

I really enjoyed reading this book and I honestly cannot wait for book 2 to come out!

I have honestly loved this entire series and this book did not disappoint! Another top read for me and I cannot get enough do these characters.

Ember is the sister of Mercy, an assassin who will do anything to protect her. When she tell Mercy that she needs some space and wants to go to college, she never thought the boy who would capture her heart would be thrown through the window of the pizza shop she was eating at. Ember and Lock are immediately drawn to each other and realize what they feel for each other isn’t like any other relationship they’ve ever had.

When Ember’s life is out in danger, Lock knows that he has to do whatever he can to protect her, even reaching out to her brother for help.

I absolutely love Ember and Lock! Their relationship is so cute. Lock is pretty much obsessed with Ember from the get go and I love how far he goes to show her how much she means to him.

I liked the story line and how old enemies came back in this book. Nix and Animal are some of my faves so I was really excited to have them be in this book. I did enjoy having Animal’s POV in this.

This book had the right amount of spice and the right amount of story; perfectly balanced!

Aran get selected and taken (kidnapped) to an elite training school where she’s forced to learn how to become an assassin. Trained by the as***le vampire Lothaire and forced to coexist with a bunch of alphaholes, Aran had to push herself past her limits and then some more.

The problem: they think she’s a dude because of the enchanted ring she wears and the don’t know she’s the missing fae queen. What’s a girl to do?

Oh. My. Fu***ng. God. I love this series so much and this did not disappoint. I was cracking up at so many parts of this book. Aran is literally dealing with a psychotic break while trying to stay alive and having Jinx talk s**t to her in her head was brilliant.

I absolutely love how sassy Aran is and how she doesn’t take s**t from anyone even when she gets beaten so badly. Corvis, Scorpius, and Orion are a bag of dicks but also maybe we like them? Idk it’s confusing but Aran is confused too.

This book was funny, witty, sassy, a little (lot) spicy, and the twist at the end made me want to yeet my kindle. I am in desperate need of the next book ASAP. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!

Cassandra has spent most of her life taking care of her sister and staying out of the way of the Thirteen. She’s had a target on her back ever since her parents tried to pull a coup and paid for it with their lives. Apollo is the Keeper of Lore and Cassandra’s boss. He’s kind and thoughtful toward her while being the only person who doesn’t treat her like she should be responsible for her parent’s actions.

These two have been harboring the hots for each other for almost 5 years and when they encounter a fake-dating situation (one of my favorite tropes!) they realize that fighting their feelings for each other isn’t worth it anymore.

While this wasn’t my favorite book in the Dark Olympus series, I did enjoy the story. I could not for the life of me figure out what Minos was up to and when I finally did everything made sense. I loved the twists and the angst. Forced proximity and fake dating are *chefs kiss* and it was done so well. The spice in this book was delicious and I really enjoyed it! I loved the Dom/sub aspect and I always enjoy when spicy scene are written with good communication and show how exciting and consensual s*x should be!

The twist at the end with Aphrodite?! I’m DEEPLY invested in what is going on in this series, even when I blank and literally have no idea what’s going on (Oopsies). There are so many characters and moving parts that I need a PowerPoint presentation and notes!

I can’t wait for Cruel Seduction to come out! Katee Robert has me by the throat and if she asked me to call her daddy I would.

Lex is a convicted killer fresh out of escaping from jail when Selena picks him up on the side of the road. what Lex doesn't know is that Selena is running from an abusive husband. What Selena doesn't know is that Lex is going to change her life forever.

I love dark romances and this one was definitely dark. While I did enjoy this book, it wasn't my favorite. The first half was great; the right amount of spice and all the things dark romance readers love. The second half dragged and it didn't have any plot. I thought the story could have ended when it was at 50% and I wasn't sure how they could stretch the story another 50%.

I do love the dynamic between Lex and Selena. Lex pushes Selena and Selena challenges Lex. They balance each other and are very different types of people, but they start to realize parts of themselves are the same.

Oh. My. God. This book was crack. It was what my bookish soul needed! I loved this book so much. I gobbled it up. I stayed up late because I HAD to know what was going to happen and then I read it first thing when I woke up.

This book was so freaking good. Isla and Kai are perfect for each other. I loved that neither of them wanted to detract the other from their goals they’d worked so hard for. Denying your fated mate because you want them to be able to live their own life rather than everything change just because Fate says so? *Chefs Kiss*

The slow burn, the looks from across the room, the flirting. It was freaking amazing. THE FACT THAT THEY CAN’T TOUCH OR THEY SOLIDIFY THE BOND!? I ate that s**t up like I was starving. The spice was soooooo delicious. I loved it all.

I cannot say enough good things about this book and I am FEENING for book 2. I need it stat.

This book was so stinking cute! I don’t usually read YA but I’m so happy I picked this up.

Emilie has to relive Valentine’s Day over and over again-watching her bf kiss his ex, crashing her car into her Chem lab partner Nick, and hearing that her dad is moving and didn’t really think to take her with him. Every day she tries to fix everything that goes wrong, but when she realizes that she would just do what she wants and f**k the consequences, everything starts to go right.

𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘳𝘶𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨.

This book is VERY high school but I loved Emmie and her attitude. She’s a smart girl who knows what she wants-or at least thought she did. When Nick Stark comes into the picture, she starts to realize that everything she had planned for herself doesn’t matter if you can’t enjoy life.

The book wrapped up in the perfect way and I loved the happy ending. I definitely want to read more by this author!

We read this book for our A Thousand Lives Book Club February BOTM!

This book was super cute. I really enjoyed how fast paced it was and I read it in one day!

Carter and Luna are opposites in every way-Carter is the finance guy and Luna is the artsy girl. When they pretend to be married for a business deal that Carter is trying to close, what started as fake turns real very quickly.

This book was fast and quick-witted. It was cute and I love the enemies to lovers aspect, as well as the fake dating (marriage).

Oh. My. Goodness.

This was amazing! I loved the first two books (Song of the Forever Rains and Dance of a Burning Sea) and this one DID NOT disappoint!

Arabessa is the oldest daughter of the Thief King and leader of the Mousai and Zimri is the Collector, one of the kings closest confidants and collector of secrets. They already have a history together, having grown up together, and when that love is put to the test when something they both want is just within reach, what lengths are they willing to go to?

I loved every moment of this book. The beautiful writing, the love Ara and Zimri have for each other, the loyalty to family and kingdom. The magic in this book is one of my favorite types of magic systems and I was so happy to be back in the world.

This series has been one of the most refreshing series I’ve read, creating a new world for me to enter and new characters to fall in love with! This book was the perfect ending to the trilogy and it was everything I needed it to be!

Arabessa and Zimri and perfect for each other. I love that they already and feelings for each other and that they weren’t willing to give their relationship up.

✨ Book Review: Ninth House by ✨

Mors irrumat omnia. Death f**ks us all.

This book took me almost 50% to get into, but when it got good, it was great. I love Alex and how complicated she is. Darlington is the perfect companion to her and I like their almost-friendship

It was definitely a little slow in the beginning. I wanted more from it right away and I felt like it took too long for the main story to get going.

When things started to happen, it was amazing. The twists and turns were so perfectly placed and I couldn’t predict what was going to happen.

I loved this book and I’m so happy k stuck with it.

Lord have mercy 🥵 This book so so f**king good. I loved literally everything about it. The main character Dianna is a badass who will do anything to protect her sister and God of Gods, Liam, will stop at nothing to defend his people. What happens when they have to work together?

Magic. Literal magic happens. The slow-burn, the enemies to lovers, the spice, the tension, the action, the magic building, the world. Every. Single. Thing. Was. Amazing. I could not get enough of this book.

I need the next one now because Dianna and Liam are goals and I still dream about them.

The Sweetheart Fix by

Jack and Juliet are opposites in every way. Juliet is a little wild and free while Jack is reserved and quiet. When Jack asking Juliet for help in winning over the town so he can save his families property, sparks fly and they can’t ignore the tension between them.

I love a cute hometown romance story and this one fit the bill. I loved the banter, the romance, the little bit of spice, and how cozy this made me feel!

I was seriously so excited to read this book and revisit old characters! Being able to got “behind the scenes” on some of the major events that happened in the series was so freaking cool! The new characters were amazing additions to the overall story. I honestly could not get enough!
