Visiting the small village of Overton on Dee , visitors will see the yew tree in the yard of St Mary the Virgin church. Yew is classified as an endangered plant, currently in the red book of the world, scientific name Glyptostrobus Pensilis. Yew tree in Overton village has been associated with Jews in the past. They have lived here for a long time, even before the Church of St Mary the Virgin was built.
