Tony is a choreographer, director, curator, dancer, educator and mentor with a razor sharp eye for dance composition, musicality and form. His unique dance vocabulary has gained respect from the highest echelons of the dance industry.

Eleven graduating students from Circomedia’s BA in Contemporary Circus with Physical Theatre present their independent Final Major Projects in a variety of disciplines, including: acrobatics, aerial, juggling & object manipulation, and circus theatre. Emerging from their second lengthy stint of being Circus students in lockdown, our final year students present their individual and distinctive approaches to performance, influenced, of course, by their experiences of what it has meant to be a circus artist stuck at home during the pandemic.

Across two live-streamed showings (a different group of students on each day), these soon-to-be graduates will draw together everything they have learnt during their time at Circomedia as they combine physical theatre, circus disciplines and a variety of other performance styles and artistic interests to bring you their exciting new work.

From 10am today we’re sharing an exclusive treat on our YouTube channel - ‘The Making of Breakout Room’, a behind-the-scenes documentary about the creation of this year’s BA Degree Ensemble film.

The digital BA ensemble, which premiered back in February, cleverly incorporated illustration, animation and pre-recorded performance with scenes of the 17 cast members performing live from their individual living spaces in lockdown - in the UK and around the world. See how the digital performance was crafted under the virtual guidance of the show’s director .
