I just heard an interview where released British captives said the Russians use Ramstein to torture them. LOL I find that hysterical. Thank God the Russians didn't use Blind Guardian. Those heroes may not have made it back alive. Slava Ukraini!

SnakeNet had the original Omincron virus! Thankfully Bear had him covered.😀

I can not believe no one told me about Nina. I'm sick to my stomach. First Eggy and now Nina and John Yorke. :( :( :(

Here we give a huge "Huzzah!" to SnakeNet Metal Radio, "Home of the Metal Nation".

When OVERLORDE reunited in 2000, Snake and his station became big supporters. And Snake himself was originally from the band's home state of New Jersey.

A number of Snakenet members were present at KEEP IT TRUE Festival ( KIT IV) in April 2005, proudly wearing their Snakenet shirts.

In this photo we find L to R: Alex Saur (aka RexRocker), Axel Johann (aka Zymanthol), Holger Ihrig (aka Endbringer)

Holger and Alex provided some of the band shots from the festival used by us over the years. Thanks!

And thanks to Axel for giving M.E. a promo CD from his band BOOMERANG.

"Across the sea amidst the horizon, Overlorde forever binds us!"

Been talking to a few guys that are roughly the same age as the babies born of SnakeNet would be now. Been trying to spread the metal gospel to these lost children and having some success. The one dude messages me about InFlames and asks me if I know of them. I sent him the station ID Anders did for the station and he freaked the f**k out.

I know I won't do it, but it really makes me think about....well, it makes me miss the station.

I was real tempted to send the guy this one, but didn't think he could handle it yet. LOL

Rotting Christ also made me think of Sakis. Is she still alive? Did she post in one of the other threads I posted here? I can't remember.

A Dead Poem 1997

I hate this t**t, but the death metal versions of her speech is amusing.

For all you old timey SnakeNetters I have news to report from the war front. Some of you may remember back about 15 years ago we ran Google ads on the site. After a month or so, they cancelled the account because too many people (looking at you 777) were clicking the banner ads and they felt it was bu****it. Never paid up.

About three years ago I joined a class action lawsuit against Google for ripping me Today I got a check for about a tenth of what they ripped us off for. They won the battle, but they lost the war. F**K YOU GOOGLE!

It just occurred to me that all those SnakeNet babies are like...in high school or some s**t by now. While Michael Jervis and I were building the internet, Millennials were creating the Zoomer generation. I think Mike and I did the better job.

For the past six weeks I’ve been captivated by the Gilets Jaunes protests in France. Every time I watch them, I can’t help think that if they had happened 15 years ago Cannelle would have drawn the SnakeNet logo on the back of her yellow vest, holding up a SnakeNet banner and been passing out stickers. A good street team is hard to find.

Merry Christmas, ya’ll.

Sounds like a good idea to me.
