In case you hadn't heard, longtime co-host Jeremy Lance is having open heart surgery today.

Jeremy has a congenital heart condition that required three childhood surgeries, and they're going back in today to replace a heart valve and fix up his previous work. He'll be in the hospital for a week or two, then need a further 8 weeks of recovery.

For those who feel compelled to help out during his recovery, a family friend set up a Meal Train account and you can donate to it at the link below. Obviously, send some good vibes the Lance family's direction too.

Last and most certainly least, Jeremy will obviously be taking a bit of an absence from the as he focuses on more important things like having a functional heart. But we've got some plans in place to fill the gap until he's podcasting fit... stay tuned.

Jeremy will be having open heart surgery March 13. He was born with a congenital heart defect & had 3 surgeries by age 3. He now needs a heart valve replacement & they will also be redoing the repair they did when he was 2 with updated procedures that will hopefully last him a very long time. He wil...
