As a group we made a Rosè (Pinotage), white (Chenin blanc), red (Shiraz), port (Shiraz) ..🤗👩🏼‍🌾🧑🏻‍🌾 our Chenin and Rosè turned out beautifully! And the rest was drinkable 😉

Everything was done in the Universities small scale/experimental cellar, which is conveniently situated on the bottom floor of our main building (JH Neethling) on Campus.. 🏢

If you ever walk into the building around March, you will be able to smell that something amazing is being done down stairs, fermentations! 🍷😍

It was an awesome experience, from harvest to bottling, which was all done on the University’s farm and cellar! Both lecturers and cellar staff were always willing to help guide and advise you through this exciting process! 🍇👉🏼🍷 @ Welgevallen Proefplaas
