FlightSimExpo confirms the 2024 convention will be held at Rio Las Vegas as scheduled on June 21-23, 2024. Event registration, hotel bookings, and travel discounts are available now.

LAS VEGAS – February 28, 2024 – Following a community-driven effort that involved multiple Las Vegas hotels, the Convention and Visitors’ Authority, and a survey of attendees, FlightSimExpo is proud to announce its fifth annual flight simulation convention will proceed as scheduled on June 21-23, 2024.

To celebrate this announcement, early registration pricing has been extended until April 1! This means attendees have an extra month to register before prices increase. iFly has released some development captures of the iFly 737 MAX8 for MSFS in the hangar. Note that these are work-in-progress and were captured then downsized from an ultra-widescreen monitor.

Interior model development is going well, and we have started flight testing on some of the aircraft systems (this is development testing and not yet a beta version).

Folks, Reno-Tahoe Intl 2.0 for MSFS is now released at the PacSim Store. It is FREE to those who already own version 1. If you already own version 1, simply use your version 1 original EXPIRED download link to request your copy by clicking the green button and type "RENO V2." The server will send the version 2 product directly to your email. Note that the server will ONLY send your copy if you requested it using the original download link.

Version2 Update Log:

- Adjusted runways' designations to new 35L/R-17L/R and 08-26
- Corrected concourses' height and updated textures with PBR maps
- Color-corrected and desaturated concourse wall textures
- Removed old/Added new ground taxiway line textures
- Added ground texture grunge on taxiways/apron areas
- Added more downtown buildings and night lighting textures
- Added Renown Hospital
- Added Veteran's Hospital
- Added Ramada Hotel (prominent view on approach to 17R/L)
- Created new custom animated jetways and included box-numbered stands to jetway rotundas
- Added wigwag lights to all rwy hold-short points
- Removed old/Added new ground support equipment for airlines
- Removed AI ground traffic crossing runways/taxiways intermittently
- Adjusted all gate parking stops
- Assigned correct airline parking gates in XML
- Adjusted night lighting inside terminal/concourse
- Added tons of custom buildings (car dealerships, warehouses, shops, school, hotels, etc) within the airport vicinity
- Added 2 Helipads at the GA and Military areas.
